Visited Mama Fifi for a family birthday meal. Restaurant now under new management and new chef since our last visit but we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient - nice banter with our server. The meals were very good - nice portion size and cooked very well. Not sure they should advertise a "deal" as "a free half glass of wine" - tends to give you an impression of being cheated somewhat but it was a decent size and nice house brand. Overall, we were happy with our visit and would recommend - they could do with some good marketing to get more people in there.

Best birthday meal but getting the table did take a little bit long but over alll the best experience for a birthday party meal great music the staff are nice

Buzzing restaurant, quite noisy at the front so if you prefer a quieter meal request the back seating which is more contained with nice comfy chairs. Food was very good and we will return , but unfortunately, the experience was quite slow. It was a Saturday night with all tables full, we had to request for our order to be taken and then had to chase for our mains which arrived @ 1.5-2 hrs after we arrived. A very pleasant evening and great food , but service of delivery needs to be speeded up. ( we were given complimentary desserts as an apology which was nice gesture)

Very lovely restaurant, staff are very attentive and overall great at their job!

Authentic Indian food. The puri's were divine. The samosa's were served with a chickpea sauce - not something I would choose but turned out they were delicious. Shared the meat platter which was all cooked to perfection and spiced beautifully. Wine by the bottle was reasonably priced and, if i recall, all under £30. I didn't have a child with me but was delighted to see that the kids menu was all authentic Indian food also - no fish fingers/burgers or nuggets here Service was relaxed but professional, if a little hectic - but they did have a birthday party to tend to which seemed to be around 50ppl of all ages, which they managed very well and didn't impede the other diners. Overall, a great restaurant which i will definitely be going back to.
