Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace.     My favorite place for Indian food in West London! My favorites are the dal makhani, Paneer on the grill, tandoori chicken, and Rogan Josh. But really, I like most everything on the menu!

    Had a fantastic meal at Chet’s, a Thai-Americana gem in Shepherd’s Bush that blends the bold, smoky flavors of Southeast Asia with the nostalgic comforts of a classic American diner. I went for the BBQ Rice Bowl with Grilled Aubergine (£12)—a deliciously smoky, well-balanced dish that really hit the spot. My friend had the Tuna Melt (£16), and wow, this wasn’t your standard sandwich! The tuna larb filling, packed with mint, coriander, red onion, and Kewpie mayo, was next-level. Add melted American cheese and a crispy, golden bread exterior, and it’s easily one of the best tuna melts I’ve tried. The coffee was great, rounding out the meal nicely, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the crisps on the side—just a personal preference. Overall, a fantastic spot with unique flavors, a cool vibe, and well-executed dishes. Would I return? Absolutely.
