- CCaseyLos Angeles •4 reviews4.0Dined 6 days agoThey had run out of prime rib and didnt tell us when we confirmed our reservation or mention that it could run out if that's what we planned to order. They didnt tell us until after we ordered and by then it was too late to go somewhere else that had what we wanted. We dissappointedly ordered the rib eye instead and it was very fatty and burnt too crispy. They also were out of the appetizer we wanted, the ahi tuna. It was a Friday night in summer with a convention in town, I feel like the restaurant should have planned better to not run out of several items. Service was fantastic and cocktails were decent. Food was not great though.More infoTahoe Joe's Famous Steakhouse - VisaliaPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Visalia•4
- LLouAnnSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 21, 2025I wanted a steak and Double LL popped up in my search, so we decided to try it. The outside looked a little iffy, torn awnings, deserted area. Entering the bar looked iffy because there was hardly anyone there. But then the hostess greeted us, confirmed our reservation, and led us to the back where there were 2 elegant dining rooms. I was relieved! The decorations were Wild Old West, lots of fun. There were some families and some couples. It was so quiet and lovely, no blasting TV or people talking loudly. We ordered drinks and the mussels (divine, the best we ever had, loads of butter, garlic, shallots and herbs, I wanted to drink the broth!) and fried calamari for appetizers. Then we ordered a house salad to split and a T-Bone steak to split. Our server, Debbie, was so professional. She asked if we wanted the appetizers before we ordered dinner, and we said yes, because we weren't sure of the portions or how full we would get. Her service was so professional and well-paced. There was unlimited garlic bread. The house salad ($3.95) was HUGE, plenty for 2 to share. Same for the T-Bone (16oz), cooked to perfection. We couldn't possibly fit in a dessert. Debbie took some photos of us.More infoDouble LL Steak House & SaloonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Visalia•4.2
- EEricaSan Diego •3 reviews5.0Dined on May 11, 2025We really enjoyed ourselves! The food was amazing. Buffett style, but you wouldn’t have noticed as the food was regularly replenished and kept warm! The make-your-own omelette station, wouldn’t have it any other way! Waffles were soft and sweet! The Prime rib was cooked to perfection, and you had options: rare, medium, or well done portions available for the many palates! Salad & rice pilaf!! I want to go back JK! The cherry on top were the mimosas and other spirits! We’re definitely coming back!! Maybe our new Mother’s Day tradition??!!More infoLegends Tap House & GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Selma•3.6
