Thank you for visiting Kenichi Izakaya Carbondale. An Izakaya is a type of informal Japanese pub. At sake breweries during the late 18th century, people in Japan began using sake kegs as stools, and snacks were served. This small plate menu was designed to encourage sharing amongst friends and family. Food is prepared in multiple kitchens and arrives as it is ready to ensure freshness. We make most of our menu in-house, from scratch, and use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.If no reservations are available, please note that we do have walk in apcae at our bar and sushi bar. Little Ollie's is a Chinese restaurant in Aspen, Colorado. It has an atmosphere of casual elegance and features both indoor and outdoor dining rooms, depending on the weather during the year. Inside, the dining area is pleasantly elegant with silky wall paper and sleek feather pictures hanging around the walls. At the same time, the tile floors and natural wood table and chair sets give Little Ollie's a more casual vibe that's inviting to guests of all types. Little Ollies is local's favorite spot from homemade dumplings to Cantonese roast duck, include the pan-seared dumplings, Szechuan hot oil wontons, traditional noodle soup, Szechuan hot oil fish, and more from Szechuan chef's specialty. A large selection of vegetarian meals are offered to guests with eating preferences, but these are not the only types of plates offered. Little Ollies also offers the full bar, as well as Asian beers, sodas, and Japanese sakes.

Ours isn’t a traditional Thai restaurant. We are not Thai. We’re not even Asian. Not even close. Hell, we’ve only visited Thailand!Don’t try to compare our green curry or phat thai with your favorite spot in Thailand. Ours is likely not equal to the one you remember, just different. Our curries aren’t striving to replicate that one you had at your favorite Thai restaurant in LA. That one’s probably better, and next time you visit, we’d like for you to bring us some take-out.Our cravings always migrate towards Asian, particularly Thai. The smell of mint, cilantro, and peanuts, the radiant warmth of Thai chili, the satisfying richness and funk of fish sauce, the acidic slap in the face of lime. It’s as heart-warming to us as our grandmother’s cooking… except, of course, she wasn’t Thai either.We simply try to serve good food and drink. This is our homage, our adoration, and our inspiration – this is our joint in SE Asia – our version anyways.
