When reserving a table outdoors, we recommend bringing a jacket that is suitable for wind and chilly weather. Our heated dining pavilion is in front of the Greens building.     I have always had excellent meals at Greens until yesterday. As usual, the service was good, the ambience-- great! However, yesterday's meal was bland, bland, bland. I ordered the Grilled Corn & Little Gems and Portobello Burger. Everything about the descriptions sounded good. But it wasn't. The salad was dry. Dry. No flavor to the grilled corn, couldn't detect the grilled tomatoes, zucchini crema? what zucchini crema? It looked and tasted like a plain cotija, which isn't bad-- but it wasn't crema and there was a very small amount of it. The pickled cabbage saved the day, but that wasn't even enough to give the salad any real flavor. The burger had less flavor than the salad. The last time I had a burger at Greens, it was made with beans, and it was mouth wateringly delicious. This one tasted like all cooked ingredients had been cooked in water. Could not taste the poblano, the mushroom tasted like nothing, and even the tomato had no real flavor-- this is tomato season? I couldn't even detect the cheese or the onion on the burger. What happened yesterday in the kitchen? Who was in charge? My two main dishes had absolutely no flavor. Salt and pepper would have at least helped (no salt and pepper to be seen in the restaurant-- yes, I could have asked). The friend I went with was also disappointed with her meal. The Bedrock rose and the Strawberry, blueberry, lemon pavlova were delicious.

    My husband and I brought two friends from Korea to dine here for dinner. They loved the pasta and the wood-oven pizza. We thought the panzanella salad was excellent and the olive appetizer. Our friends want to dine here again.
