The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

The food was great -- oysters/bone marrow and baba ganoush appetizers were great. Our favorite was NY strip steak -- expensive, but worth it if you like a good steak, and everyone at the table could eat a little of it, because it was pretty big. Caulilini was probably our second favorite entree. And oxtail gnocchi and the chicken were also good. Liked all 6 foods we tasted. It's really loud and lively, so if you want something more tranquil, it's probably not the right place for you. But if you want something trendy, lively, airy (a portion of the seating is in a semi-covered outside area) environment, it's great. It gives you some energy.

This was our first time sitting at a table. Our last visit was a couple of years ago, and we so enjoyed our food, we wanted to sit down at a table. This outside seating area was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Warm with a slight breeze just capped the evening quite nicely. Our server was wonderful and the food was just delicious. I need to start having more cantaloupe and prosciutto whenever it's available cause I can still remember the taste with the rum raisin dressing. The gnocchi had a good amount of truffle shavings, and I was surprised when my wife said she loved it. She's normally not a big fan of truffles. What a meal!

Went for an impromtu pre-90th birthday for my Aunty. The staff let me come early to set up and sevetal times offered their help. Even when I at first answered abruptly because I was late in getting there, they were understanding. It's a wonderful place and recommend it to those who want to fully enjoy the harbor dining experience. Aloha 🌞

My mom and I had an outdoor reservation. The view was beautiful! We did not sit right by the water and it was still so pretty sitting a little farther back. We had the ahi, crab, avocado stack as an appetizer. This is a must have! Our entrees were the macadamia and coconut mahi and chicken piccata. Wow, so delicious. The meals were perfectly warm when served. Our sever was attentive and kind. All of the wait staff and host were equally as lovely.
