We have been to Baker and Wife several rimes and never disappointed. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the curried noodles with seafood deli cious. We had the eggplant and carrot hummus as an appetizer and that too was excellent We were surprised that the "split" of champagne contained altogether no more than a single glass. And the salad with the shrimp didn't quite match the description. But the salad? as delicious nonetheless. The decaf Americano was rich and a perfect conclusion. I have always loved that meals there are. really an occasion. We spent more than an hour, without ever feeling pressed to leave or lacking ng food or conversation. It's not cheap but its worth the price for a real treat.

We ordered the Dover Sole Meunière and it was outstanding. The best I have eaten since I was last in London. As usual the service was great!

The Maine Epicurean menu was really great. Joe made our special night out really nice.

Couple here from Michigan! This was our first time in Sarasota and our first time at Columbia. From the moment we walked in the entire place was aesthetically pleasing. From the ambiance - to the decor - to the menu - to the presentation of drinks and food - it was all a very cuban/european vibe! Our waiter Chris, was prompt - down to earth - very informative and suggested some flavorful options. He even surprised us with a dessert on the house for our first anniversary! We would come back a thousand times over. Thank you for a memorable night!
