We had a great time at Lure today. 5 of us celebrated a birthday that started with oysters and ended with a hot fudge sundae for the birthday boy that was fortunately served with five spoon. Compliments to the sand dabs, poke, and sea bass skewers. The fish sandwich was gigantic and hard to manage without a fork and knife, but it looked delicious! We will be back to try some more items from the extensive menu!

Wonderful meal at Ventana Grill as usual. Homemade fresh tortillas, fish and chips and enchiladas specially prepared for our vegan friend. Definitely one our favorite dining experiences.

I had heard how spectacular the Christmas decorations are, so I chose this time of year to dine at Madonna's, and they did not disappoint! There's more than you could ever take in just looking around. The staff was friendly and prompt. My particular waiter did not seem very knowledgeable about wines, but his knowledge of the food was good. The couple at the table next to me were very pleased with his suggestions. The food is your standard, basic steak house faire. It brought back memories of dining with my parents. Along with your main entree you get the basic green salad or soup, vegetables, baked potato or rice and a bread basket. The food was simple, but good. I had the portobello mushroom since I'm more vegetarian, and it was very tasty with cheese and balsamic toppings. Of course, I had to try their famous Pink Champagne Cake which is a white cake with two types of fillings and pink curls sprinkled on the top. It too was very good and huge...best to share with one or two others. I was there early on a weekday, so the noise level from patrons was low. The old fashioned Christmas music was loud and festive. If you enjoy a traditional steakhouse experience, Madonna's Gold Rush Steak House is perfect.

Xmas tree was all trimmed and sooo mnay lights, its gorgeous!!! will be back just to enjoy the tree with dnother time for dinner. 3 of us enjoyed the halibut special, yummy. Our server was very elpful, and friendly... think shes lea? now after tonight the pier xmas tree will also be a glow..... thanks for the holiday feelings..

Madonna Inn is a classic restaurant, noted for amazing ambience, great food and great service! The special today was Beef Stroganoff which several members of our party enjoyed. There was enough food, that most of us took home doggie bags. Our waiter, Tomas, was especially good -- he was attentive, got all orders correct, and was timely in all his responses to our needs.
