- SWSuzanneWIdaho •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoToma hit above expectations. The restaurant is small and cozy. We started with the sourdough and the burrata tomato salad which was delicious. The rigatoni and the gnocchi pastas were out of this world! Rounding out the meal were lovely desserts, the strawberries in pistachio phyllo and the chocolate torte. An excellent meal to complete our visit to Santa Barbara.More infoToma Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Italian• Santa Barbara•4.7
- SSharonLos Angeles •19 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe travel to Santa Barbara several times a year. We try to visit Convivo when we come. We travel with our 3 special needs border collies. The outdoor patio is dog friendly. We made a dinner reservation that included our wheelchair bound border collie. He was not feeling well so we left him at the rental house but the staff greeted us brightly and asked about the dogs. They even remembered all 3 dogs' names. We were seated quickly and service was perfect. I hate that I can't remember the name of our server. She was a sweet (I would say young, but at my age everyone seems young) blonde lady that seemed to guess what we wanted next. The meal was perfect. We started with Charcoal Prawns and a Santa Barbara Market Salad. We each ordered one of their handmade pasta dishes; Bucatini and Guinzaglio. We finished with another glass of wine and two lovely deserts; a Lemon Tart and a Cheesecake topped with fresh berries. Confession: Yes, I refused to share my lemon tart....and I was tempted to lick the plate. And the SB Market Salad is a pefect dish to share with two for a starter or a light meal. This really is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara. They even have a lovely outdoor fireplace perfect for a glass of wine or an adult beverage while watching the sunset. Shhhhh.....let's not make it too popular.More infoConvivoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Santa Barbara•4.6

- BBarbieTampa / Central Florida West •1 review5.0Dined on Sep 17, 2024We made a request with our reservation (thank you greatly for allowing ‘request’ when booking a reservation). Our request was honored and our server, Billy was truly personable~ an asset to any well run service business; especially restaurants. Be forewarned….the Cobb salad is huge and the dressing they used is superb. Additionally, the clam chowder bowl IS a big serving. We loved the added touch of leaving a fresh ground pepper mill at our table after grounding by our server. Chowder was scrumptious with lots of clam. Perfect meal, quiet, comfortable and beautiful atmosphere~ We found this a delightful experience. Best wishes to Pete and Billy!More infoAnchor RosePrice: Expensive• American• Santa Barbara•3.6
