Restaurants near Arcadia Specialty Center Shopping Center

I made reservations for a special occasion dinner. I received great news of my cancer diagnosis healing in lung and showing no more trace in liver, adrenal gland and lymph nodes. We had never eaten at this Arcadia location. My husband and I arrived half an hour early so that we could enjoy a cocktail in the bar before our two friends arrived. Nice cozy ambiance and best dirty martini (Kettle One). We were sat down on time in dining room booth with two friends. There was a discreet table sign reading “congratulations”. Sweet. Tasty calamari appetizer was shared, long thick cuttings that are tender inside with crispy breaded coated outside. We each ordered three course combination dinners. I enjoyed shrimp cocktail. Each piece was finger sized. The cocktail sauce had a flavorful tomato taste with a spicy horseradish kick. I tasted my friend’s Brussels sprouts: large serving that is rich from olive oil and balsamic glaze drizzle. Three of us had the bacon wrapped petite filet mignon, a good juicy flavorful beef. Garlic mashed potatoes had a nice creamy texture. Assortment of roasted vegetables were both colorfully beautiful and delicious. We received a complimentary shared dessert of baked Alaska. Liqueur was poured over, flame lit, and served table side. Impressive! We were so full that we requested our desserts (included in combination meal) for takeout. We are now hooked and will be returning soon.

Really enjoyed the dining experience. Haven't been in a long time. The food was exceptional. Fun to see it prepared right in front of us.

So many menu choices! Everyone enjoyed what they ordered: burger, chicken club sandwich, parmesan crusted shrimp. French fries were crispy and abundant. The food was attractively presented. The friendly server was efficient and patient about checking back with us. The Pizookie is a highlight for a shared dessert.

I really enjoyed the duck and the dim sum is YUMMY!
