Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.     The skies opened just as we arrived for our reservation. People eating outside were making a dash to indoors. I was a little chaotic Stephanie handled the seating changes with grace. We were seated, and the evening was exactly as we always expect at Martini Bistro. Food and drinks were delicious. I love the Bistro Salad with a crab cake. Husband had arugula salad and Ahi tuna. We left happy and satisfied.

    Kelly was our waitress, and she was awesome. She helped me navigate my gluten-free needs. She helped recommend delicious food and wine. Food was great, beautiful place.
