Yuta was the name the Ute Indians called the area and themselves, meaning "mountain top" or "people who live high is the mountains." Legend has it, when Spanish explorers arrived and asked the natives what this area was called, they were told "YUTA." Its mountains have seen many cultures pass through or inhabit, starting with the Uto-Aztecan Native Americans; then, the Utes. As US western expansion continued, more cultures moved through the area – from as far away as Eastern Europe and China. Drawing on all of these cultures, we are defining a regional cuisine true to Utah, featuring a wood-burning hearth, and with Lynsey Gammon, our Blue Sky farmer who uses the ultimate in organic farming practices.

We were on our way to breakfast when we noticed LOMA and decided that's where we wanted to eat an early dinner that night. Ken, our server, was very attentive while also giving us space to enjoy our dinner and each other's company. We ordered the Weekly Agonolloti and the Squid Ink Pasta. Both were exceptional! We finished off with the Stracciatella Gelato. So delicious! We will definitely visit LOMA again on our next visit to Park City!

It was a great little restaurant with very good food and plating. The server was adequately attentive. The decor and dining area was cute and they even have a patio option with heaters. The trout dip wasn’t my personal favorite. The kale Cesar salad was balanced and portion was great to share with 2. The Elk was excellent and so was the bass with baked vegetables. The brownie sundae was very rich and decadent and again a great portion to share. Overall a great little place that we will definitely have to return to. Averaged about $70 a person + drinks and tip.
