Located in an iconic building of Midtown Manhattan, Iris is a restaurant that aims to showcase the best preparations of the Eastern Mediterranean region. We have been to Milo's many many times before and each time, we left there with satisfation. Last night for the first time we ordered the lobster pasta after seeing so many people had ordered it before including our guests at Milo's. The dish was beautifully presented. The pasta was al dente and the lobster was tender and juicy with full flavor. The sauce was just perfect. Despite all the fresh seafood at Milo's we have enjoyed each time, the lobster pasta is a dish for the special occasion. We loved it! Thank you Milo's team!

It was a memorable dinner at 6 for three, ages 73,69,38; longtime NYers all. We had an excellent, sweet-natured server and cheerful sommelier who brought us a terrific Barbaresco. Most of the fare was really fine, ie: garlic babka, delicious battered and tender calamari, a refreshing endive-kale-celery-apple salad, dover sole, French fried potatoes. Slightly less interesting was the shrimp cocktail, veal chop, and the eggplant pull-a-parm. (These last were, nonetheless, tasty enough!) Our lovely waitress Brought three small espresso martinis and some excellent sorbet to accompany the lemony cheesecake we ordered for our final sweet of the evening. Though expensive, this was an impressive array all around. Bravo!
