La Plazuela was the hotel’s original 1920s patio and it retains that sunlit Old World charm. Skylights flood the dining room with natural light and handsome carved furnishings, artisanal lighting, and our much-loved hand painted windows create a beautiful, inviting room to gather, to dine and to make memories in. The menu was crafted to showcase old favorites with New World influences and authentic New Mexican cuisine. La Plazuela at La Fonda on the Plaza is Santa Fe’s gathering place. Come dine with us!

This exclusive event will feature a reception, and four-course dinner, with a total of eight beautifully curated wines by Hall. The cost of the event will also include the opportunity to order Hall wines for next day pick up, and a copy of the book " A perfect score", written by Craig, and Kathryn Hall. Seating is extremely limited. A credit card will be required to secure your reservation; however, it will not be charged until the evening of the event.     A disappointing experience. The La Fonda hotel is an icon in Santa Fe and we thought their restaurant would be something special- it is not. We were expecting something a bit more uoscale, but it is more along the lines of a somewhat casual place, not a fine dining experience. The food was good, but there are other places in Santa Fe of similar casual ambiance that are better at less cost. Service however was great; waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable. We won’t be back as it was not what we expected. If you go La Fonda, do go up to the Bell Tower for a drink; there is food available there too which is casual too.

    We have eaten at Plazuela on every trip to Santa Fe. The setting is beautiful, and the service was excellent. Our food was good but not AS good as on other trips. My husband had to send his steak back because it was cooked well done when he ordered it medium rare. By the time he got another plate, all of us (9) were finished with our meals, which the rest of us rated as "good". Also, the tab was extremely high for the number of people in our group. We split the tab three ways and each of the three tabs was about $300. We will go again perhaps, but were definitely disappointed.

    A wonderful evening celebrating my mother's birthday. The team was amazing and very thoughtful in providing a birthday brownie at the end of our meal. First time to visit the restaurant while visiting Santa Fe, but I highly, highly recommend.

    Our extended family of ten adults were celebrating a 62nd wedding anniversary and we could not have had a better experience. All staff members were eager to please and help with the celebration. The food was delicious and at the end of the meal we were surprised with glasses of champagne. The historical setting and the ambience contribute to the overall enjoyment. I would recommend that anyone spending time in Santa Fe should try to dine at this lovely restaurant.
