Food was excellent. Service very nice.
Wonderful outdoor setting, peaceful and beautiful. Food presentation (beet salad) was beautiful and al the food was delicious!
Interesting new menu since I last dined there. All of our dishes were flavorful, and well prepared. Enjoyed it.
Always a nice place to spend lunch in the summer. I love their patio. The food is consistently very good and their wine menu is fantastic.
We have eaten here many times. We always came for the singing (wait service sings show tunes). Unfortunately that is no more. We ate on the patio and it was lovely despite the light drizzle. Apparently it’s hard to get wait staff and they were short staffed. Our waiter had to go ask someone every time we had a question. The menu is not so good for picky eaters.
Food was okay. I had the scallops and they felt a bit rubbery. But flavorful. I had a sena-Rita cocktail and it tasted like cheap liquor. I wouldn’t recommend. Service was great however despite a sign saying they were short staffed. Our server was very attentive. Points for that. We probably would go elsewhere next time.
Truly wonderful food! Lovely setting and great service!
Very nice setting, ridiculously high prices for the quality of the food that was served. Our group had two meals that were not edible with one dish been completely bland and the other testing as though pork was old.
The appetizers we picked were actually quite good. Service was adequate but lacked the professionalism for a restaurant that considers itself a high-end donning establishment.
Outdoor patio was great, server was also really good. Food was disappointing. The scallops, beet salad and pork tomahawk were all average at best. Expected a lot more for the price.
It was our first visit to Santa Fe and this location made the experience memorable. Delicious food, excellent service, beautiful location in the middle of a historic courtyard under a canopy of trees and umbrellas. What a fantastic experience!
Great lunch and great experience
The newly redone patio area is large, yet intimate and inviting. The tables are spaced far enough apart so you do not notice others or their conversations. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. A hidden garden gem in the heart of downtown.
We ordered a stuffed Eggplant that was not very good!
A beautiful tranquil setting. Food is always expertly prepared
Fabulous just miss the singing
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe! The patio is a must for outdoor dining, and the food is always superb
Great new menu. Love the food. The patio is the best in Santa Fe.
As ever, the ambience and service at Casa Sena were excellent. It was disappointing to see such a changed menu, which would have been fine if the food was well prepared. But the dishes we had were mediocre at best. Everything seemed to have been charred, leaving them dry and smoky tasing. PLEASE bring back the truly exceptional upscale NM tastes we knew and loved! Our birthday outing was saved by the glorious patio, wonderful service, and delicious drinks. We won't give up on this old favorite.
We've been to La Casa Sena several times -- both dinner & lunch. This time was for a late lunch, and we weren't disappointed. The Caesar Salad is creative! The presentation is great and the flavors & freshness were, too.
The Angel Hair Pasta was not shy on clams nor shrimp. Tasty and filling. The lamb gyro was also wonderful, but the topper was the mizithra fries-- super crispy with a fabulous garlic dipping sauce that took everything over the top.
Truly an enjoyable meal.
Hmm... The ingredients might include a post-Covid hangover or change in menu. We have eaten at La Casa Sena many times over 25 years. The food now is mostly Mediterranean...okay...but that is definitely different. The patio dining ambiance is grand. The waitstaff were friendly and capable. I guess I’d call the menu less expansive in scope. Hopefully this review will be considered as helpful criticism and not a pan for future customers.
Food was delicious. The ambiance could be stepped up a bit with some table décor. Always enjoy going there.
Wonderful courtyard setting, service was inconsistent, and menu is a bit random, but worth a try especially if you can be seated in the courtyard rather than inside.
Food was about average in taste and way overpriced.
The setting is unmatched, and the food and drinks are superb.
First return to one of my favorite spots in Santa Fe. A bit under staffed but that is just the way things are during these times. The menu was a bit more limited than in the past but still nice choices. I miss the avocado cheese cake with the pine nut crust!!
Luncheon for a women friend
The courtyard, lush garden ambiance here is amazing, but that was our favorite part. Service was slow which is understandable since most places post covid seem to be understaffed. The food was not our favorite. We were confused that the tenderloin had what seemed to be a country gravy slathered on top and the plate was decorated artfully but with a velveeta type cheese sauce. Everything else, small plates and entrees, everyone thought were just alright. We want to come back for the setting but wouldn’t order anything we ordered again.
Two drinks were ordered, an Old Fashioned and Manhattan. Fairly standard drinks, yet neither were very good.
The menu was disappointing. Goes from appetizer to high end with no sandwiches or chicken dishes. No protein available for salads.
Will not go back.
Excellent lunch on a wonderful patio in Santa Fe. I would recommend La Casa Sena to everyone.
Everything was wonderful!!!
Four gals get together. We had a fantastic time catching up and sharing small plates. Food and ambiance fantastic!
The new Mediterranean menu here in summer 2021 is outstanding. A creative chef, and finally several vegetarian options (the carnivores will enjoy too)
Miss the big old cottonwood tree in the Plaza Sena, but the fountain is still lovely, with lots of shade.
Long time favorite when in Santa Fe. Even better with more tables in the shady patio. The salads were delicious and enjoyed with a glass of pinot grigio... yum!!
Best restaurant venue for outdoor dining in Santa Fe. Outstanding cuisine. Stellar wine list.
Lovely outdoor setting. Good service. Great drink and food menu.
Service was great
We are out in the courtyard for lunch and it was superb
Great food and drinks
We enjoyed it
Such an amazing patio! As locals, we love this hot spot.
Terrific food in a beautiful, cool courtyard. I would have returned another night if there had been space available.
The setting outside at Casa Sena is perfect for fun or serious along with great food!
Great food, kale salad fresh, delicious and a perfect citrus dressing. My friend had the gyros and was equally pleased. Corn muffins with the salad was a special added touch.
