Exquisite dinner perfectly prepared and presented. We enjoyed the roasted duck and ruby trout. It was truly the best dining experience we have had in Santa Fe. The service was a perfect as well. Bravo!
We stop by for a meal everytime we travel on our way from Colorado to Arizona and CA. Love this place for its fine dining.
Love this place! Food is great (especially the ruby Trout). Piano bar is so great. Wonderful singers that also work as waiters and waitresses. All such hard workers! Exceptional pianist!
Fabulous meal! Thank you!
I would have give all 5 stars except the bathroom was gross. The food was excellent and the setting was very nice. Dirty bathrooms give me a problem though. I expect a place like Casa Sean to check frequently and have spotless bathrooms. A gross bathroom is not part of the experience you are paying for.
BLTA is excellent with green Chile. Nebbiolo by the glass was a great value and selection was appreciated. Lobster Mac and cheese too heavy for lunch. Tea is excellent.
Everything was wonderful especially the risotto cake with the kalamata olives and feta cheese!!
Very attentive & genuinely friendly wait staff.
This was a delightful discovery. We went for lunch and are looking forward to returning for dinner.
Always fabulous & never disappoints! Ben & Matt are wonderful!
La Casa Sena has always been one of Santa Fe's best restaurants for many years. The food at my last meal was very very good. They had two menus - normal and restaurant week. Both menus were very well curated with a wide variety of plates that were excellent combinations. There were 2 of us eating and all 7 courses between us were very good. The wine list is one of the very best in town. I have been eating there for over 20 years. I always try to stop in when I am in town for a few lunches and dinners.
The food was good but not great for the price. It was restaurant week so it was very busy so the service was somewhat slow.
The trout was delightful. My wife always gets the best!
We went here for Restaurant Week. Although it is a go to place during the summer patio months for lunches with friends and guests, I hadn't tired this for dinner. The meal was fabulous! Osso Buco was better than I've had in Italy! Fell right off the bone. They had a great selection of wine they offered at their club prices fro Restaurant Week so we took advantage and had a bottle. Appetizers were great as was the dessert. I am going to make this a regular dinner spot. The service was impeccable! Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Atmosphere was also wonderful, though no fire in the fireplace on the chilly night we visited. That was the ONLY negative, however. I highly recommend Casa Sena!
Granted it was a Monday nite, restaurant week but no excuse for dry ossobucco and pasty pasta. One scallop appetizer, ridiculous. Sorbet delicious. $130 for poor food, mediocre service...no bargain. Lunches anytime are great.
This was our first experience at Casa Sena. Walking up the building was unassuming but upon entering the ambiance was very nice. We were there during restaurant week so they offered a prix fixe menu. There were 2 of us with food allergies in the group and they were very accommodating. The scallop appetizer was wonderful! Perfectly cooked with a light sauce that complemented the creaminess of the scallop. I got the trout as my entree and the fish was cooked well. The sauce was good but wasn’t anything outstanding. There was nothing wrong but the dish just didn’t stand out to me. The tartine dessert was delightful! Light with wonderful flavors and fresh berries to complement. Overall the food was delicious, ambiance was nice and service was outstanding.
We dined with friends for brunch and had a delightful time. The food was delicious, and the presentation of the food was fabulous! Just wish I'd remembered to take pictures. Additionally, the blue corn muffins that are brought to the table are excellent!
The waiter appeared much too busy to provide good service. Would occasionally “check in”. Food was very disappointing. Ate here last year and food not as good. Waiter appeared not interested in our reaction to food. Will not return. But wonderful ambiance if in front room with fireplace
Outstanding food (ruby trout and beef tenderloin) and wine list. Ambience is classic Santa Fe, great for quiet conversation. Our waiter was a little supercilious, very atypical for the waitstaff the multiple other times we’ve visited.
Lovely centuries-old atmosphere. Very attentive service. Beautifully prepared food.
La Casa Sena, a mainstay of ours whenever we are in Santa Fe, was perfect for a dinner with the two guests from home who joined us for the weekend of 2/20-23. As always, the presentation was spectacular, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Two of our party had elk and two had ruby trout. Both dishes were wonderful. It was a lovely evening. Thanks, La Casa Sena!
Burger was on the small side for $18 and slightly overdone. Green Chile’s we’re almost tasteless. Extremely disappointing burger esp for the ridiculous price.
Wait staff was not very attentive and the food was average.
Everything was wonderful! My wife and I left very happy.
They had a bison tenderloin that was amazing! Excellent chef!!
Our server was a pleasant young man who could use some additional fine points about service in a higher level restaurant like La Casa Sena. I made a small suggestion to him, felt he was amenable to learn and he only momentarily showed a little defensiveness. He considered the suggestion and overall he was very good. Every business benefits from ongoing education, and that certainly includes the high level restaurant world, considering the competition in Santa Fe.
We have eaten here several times in the last few months.
My husband had done cousins cone in from out of town. He ordered the pork osso bucco with fettuccine. He said the fettuccine tasted old-and not a very good taste.
He was disappointed.
We hope this was a one time disappointment.
super fun ladies lunch.
loved our food choices and service was great!
Consistent and one of my favorite restaurants in Santa Fe
We love La Casa Sena and have gone there for years. There are many gluten free options. The atmosphere is always pleasant. We joined he wine club a year ago, and just renewed it. Can’t beat the value!
Going to La Casa Sena is a must-do when in Santa Fe. The food is always delicious and beautifully presented. Also, the service is friendly and gracious. The restaurant itself is very cozy and comfortable. It's always a pleasure to dine here!
A great time, the staff were great the show was terrific and the staff was/were all great. I look forward to going again.
We love everything about La Casa Sena! The food is always delicious, service top notch, and atmosphere is always on point! Thank you!
Always a fun and really good chef inspired food and cocktails. A delight to eat there with piano and singing entertainment.
Absolutely one of the best dining experiences that we have had in recent memory. The food was excellent, the servers were amazing, and the staff doubling as the live entertainment was outstanding. My favorite restaurant in Santa Fe to date!
La Casa Sena hits it across the board. Great staff and terrific food.
We recommend La Casa Sena and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. We go on a regular basis and often take friends. My husband had the Osso Buco this time and was happy as always.
We ate in the cantinia not the resturant. The waiters sang in between taking orders. Fantastic! Have enjoyed several times in the past, will go again.
Very nice New Year day lunch. Food was delicious, atmosphere great. One of our favorite Santa Fe restaurants
New Year’s Eve
