   One of my favorite restaurants and again we spent Mother's Day afternoon that Chilean Seabass is one of my favorites sat outside on the patio. Those fans kept us nice and cool and comfy. Our waiter was wonderful.

   had a very frustrating experience here on Mother’s Day. I arrived at 1:50 PM for a 2:00 PM reservation. When I checked in, the hostess said she couldn't find our reservation. I showed her my phone confirming the correct time and location. She then said she saw it, but that it was under the name "Sam." A moment later, she returned and claimed the reservation was actually for 3:15 PM. Again, I showed her my confirmation for 2:00 PM. Despite this, we were asked to wait outside — in 90-degree heat — while others who arrived after us were seated. At 2:15 PM, I spoke to someone else. They couldn’t find my name but were finally able to pull up my reservation using my phone number, though it was listed under the wrong name but my email was correct so I knew it was mine . I confirmed it was my reservation, and they checked me in. Still, more people who arrived after us continued to be seated. By around 2:30–2:35 PM, we asked to speak to a manager. Suddenly, our table was “ready.” The manager did hear us out, admitted they were in the wrong, and offered free appetizers, which we appreciated. But the damage was done — my mom and elderly grandmother had to wait outside in extreme heat for far too long because the staff failed to escalate the issue sooner. To make matters worse, while we were eating, we noticed bugs flying around and crawling on the table. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and we won’t be returning.

   We picked Kings for Mothers Day not just because we like the food but they advertised “Come join us for Mother’s Day” but quite frankly other than a Happy Mother’s Day sign at the front desk, nothing was different. The place was super busy & noisy but it was a smooth operation. The fish itself was excellent. I had the featured Wild caught halibut and the macadamia crust was great! The sides are pretty bland. The clam chowder is very good. The starters are good as well. If they could make more memorable sides, it would really set them apart. It was a nice lunch. Maybe a flower given to a mom at a table or ice cream would have been nice touch too.

   My husband and I love this place! The Orange location is perfect as we often enjoy going to the movies afterwards. The food is excellent as is the service.

   I got the piccata softshell crab and it came with couscous. I would’ve enjoyed a more substantial side than just couscous but was told that there were no substitutions. I’m not a fan of couscous and would’ve liked something that was a little bit more filling.

    Great food and service. Fresh Oysters and draft beer were excellent. Menu is printed daily with lots of fresh fish options. I really enjoy this place.
