Ingas Alpine Tavern, in Denver, serves phenomenally comforting cuisine crafted with global inspiration in its contemporary and vibrant eatery. The crinkle cut French fries topped with bacon bits and white cheese queso and the creamy house made spinach and artichoke dip served with veggies and bread make excellent appetizers. Some of Ingas Alpine Taverns specialty entres include the Bavarian plate with Buffalo jalapeno cheddar sausages served with a soft pretzel, beer cheese and mustard, the coconut curry mussels and the Rat Pack pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers and red onions and mozzarella cheese, are delicious and show the versatility of the menu. Inga's is a fabulous vibe and accommodates larger parties (8). The patio looks fun for warmer weather. The service was attentive. The Saturday we went the kitchen's timing was off and our meals arrived at different times. We'll be back!

Great little old school bar with excellent pub food. We just had snacks and drinks, but everything we ordered was excellent. There's nothing fancy at all about this place, and that's what makes it so charming. They have a nice patio.

Went there on a snowy Thursday night with our two daughters (both under 6). Not exactly a family-friendly joint (no kids menus or kids cups) but our girls loved the giant disco ball. Nothing exciting for drinks: beers for adults, water for kids. It was cool seeing local small breweries Comrade and Station 26 offered. For apps, we had cheese curds and fried pickles. The cheese curds were outstanding although we thought they'd be better with ranch than marinara. The fried pickles are served lengthwise, not cut into discs so that was unique. Good. For entrees our girls split chicken tenders with fries and adults had fish & chips/fries and Philly cheesesteak with coleslaw. The coleslaw was sorta creamy with a powerful citrus flavor. Overall the food was outstanding, fish and fries reminded me of fish fry's in WI and the tartar sauce was probably the best I've ever had in CO. Fish was perfectly prepared and lightly breaded. The Philly cheesesteak was also great on really good bread (not a baguette). Chicken tenders were moist and delicious and we loved the seasoning on the fries. We look forward to coming back to Inga's soon to try some other items on the menu but probably without the kids.
