Casual ambience and delicious Italian food. A friend and I went for lunch on a weekday, and we were pleasantly surprised by how many tables were filled. A good sign! We decided to go family style and ordered two appetizers and a salad to share. Perfect amount of food for a light lunch. We had the crispy stuffed squash blossoms and the four cheese arancini, both dishes I adore when visiting Sicily. The squash blossoms were indeed crispy and light, and held the cheese stuffing beautifully. There were either four or five blossoms on the plate. This is a pricey dish, but I know the ingredients and labor are significant. The arancini were also perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. There were 5 medium-small size arancini. We also ordered the arugula and grape salad which was a full plated size and perfect for sharing. The server was very pleasant and appropriately attentive (meaning not too present but just enough); he offered us a tasting of the wine of the day (which was a very good red). We ordered the Cooper’s Hawk rose, which we very much enjoyed. I’m sorry we did not order dessert, so I’ll be returning soon!

Our first time at Violi, not our last. Our server Ashley was Fantastic- she explained in detail different items on the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious. The space is gorgeous- great addition to Oakbrook!

What a beautiful menu, dining area, and wait staff. Each time my husband I go we have a spectacular experience. Our meals are always five star and fresh. From the minute you sit down with homemade bread and easily the best olive oil, balsamic, Parmesan heaven you’ll ever have until you enjoy the biggest most delicious slice of tiramisu you will eat, you will love your experience at Antico Posto.

Consistently good food served by engaged wait staff. Always a good meal from all aspects.
