Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri and his partner Steven Hartenstein. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he and his partner have opened Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. Start the evening with a refreshing Agua de Valencia cocktail, while listening to live Latin music by El Bandolero. Then enjoy a spread of bold, shareable tapas like jamón Ibérico, octopus carpaccio, and croquetas. Watch as Chef Federico Comacchio prepares a traditional Paella Valenciana live on the patio, served with flowing pours of Albariño and Monastrell wines. End on a sweet note with Tarta de Santiago.

Great food and cocktails. Our server, Erica, was outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable and didn’t rush us.

Longtime customer, very disappointed I’ve dined here many times over the years, but this last visit was a letdown. We told our server we’d be staying a while for drinks, dinner, and dessert she said no problem. After ordering multiple courses and cocktails, we were suddenly handed the check and told there was a two hour limit something never mentioned and not posted anywhere. The restaurant was half empty, and it was only 8 p.m. We left feeling rushed and unwelcome. Sadly, the food isn’t good enough to justify the prices or the treatment. Won’t be back.

One of the best spots in the west burbs and Chicagoland area. Between the wait staff, the chef, Steve, you can’t go wrong. Always treated top notch and like family. The food was unreal. They rolled out a new menu and it’s very very Good. If you haven’t been here you need to make a reservation, Today!!

The food at this restaurant was outstanding - particularly the seafood. The table side fettucine presentation was exciting too! Service was friendly and knowledgeable, yet a few times we experienced a bit of a wait. All in all, it was a great experience, and we will definitely return!

Great place to eat. Inside the noise was a little high. There was 11 of us and sitting at the end of the table I could not communicate with people on the other. Waiter was magnificent. He provided everything I asked for. I ordered a liquor at the end for end for my entire party and there was an overcharge for it on the bill. I complained and they took the entire charge off the bill. That was nice. It's a pricey place so expect to pay more than you would think.

Met friends from out of town who were staying in Naperville. Everything from the cocktails at the bar to the service, food, ambiance at the table was exemplary! Definitely recommend and definitely worth the drive.

We weren't terribly hungry, so he shared three apps (tuna crudo, octopus carpaccio, oysters) and split an entree (squid-ink risotto with scallops and n'duja). All terrific. Live music outdoors until the rain drove us inside.
