Lucille at Drury Lane
We were seated as soon as we arrived--and we were 10 minutes early. We had a GREAT waitress, Rose. She was very attentive and personable. We had a relaxed dinner and had plenty of time to get to the performance.
Before play visit, Xmas gift
Good food, nice atmosphere. Great bread selection, nice salad. Somewhat limited entree selection but well executed.
Selection was outstanding!!!!! Fabian our server was great!!!!!
I would try to keep the prices firm. It's $40 before tax and tip. How many people can do this more than once a year.
My wife and I took our moms to Lucille's for a holiday brunch. Selection of food items was impressive, as was the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. Nice work Lucille's! We will be back.
My family (husband & 2 daughters ages 9 and 6) and I had dinner here before we saw Beauty and The Beast. This was our second time eating at this restaurant. Our first time was in December 2018, we had the breakfast brunch after we saw a Christmas Carol. My daughters enjoyed it so much that we have made it into our annual holiday family tradition to attend a play at Drury Lane & Lucille Restaurant. They enjoy the atmosphere (getting dressed up) and having brunch/dinner by the big Christmas Tree. We will be back in December to see Mary Poppins. I want my daughters to appreciate theater and Drury Lane is a great place for them to experience the many plays that are performed here.
We waited so long for our food we almost missed the show. The musical began at 8:00 and since the restaurant is right there we made our reservations for 6:30. We arrived on time and were seated quickly. We were only given 1 actual menu and 2 pre-theater menus. We already knew we did not want anything on the pre-theater menu and waited a long time to get a second menu. Again we had a very long wait to place our order of chopped salad to share, salmon, and mahi mahi. The salad arrived without a long wait but the seafood did not arrive until 7:43. How are you to enjoy food that you have to eat so quickly? The service was terrible. The waitress said it was the kitchen that delayed our food and she apologized several times. We heard her apologizing to several other tables too. We were not the last group to get our food. Others were just being served as we were finishing our meal. Each year with our theater subscription we are given a complementary coupon; this year it was for a bottle of wine if we ordered an entree. It has probably been 7 or more years since we dined at the theater and deciding to take advantage of this offer was a mistake. If you decide to dine at Lucille's I recommend that you arrive as soon as they open. The food was fine, not outstanding.
Extremely disappointed after our dinner dining experience. The service was so slow we didn’t have time for dessert before our showtime, this even after allotting an hour and a half timeframe for dinner. We had to send back one entree as it was served to us burnt. We were very surprised and disappointed at the poor quality of the dinner entrees as we have been enjoying the exceptional brunch here for years. Incredibly overpriced for the quality of the food, the poor service and for the overall dinner dining experience.
Our server was excellent; however, the food took a really long time to come out. We sat for our reservation at 6:15. We ordered around 6:30. Our salads and drinks came after a reasonable amount of time, but we had to wait until 7:45 for our dinners to come. We were worried we would miss our 8:00 show time. Our waitress even offered to box up our leftovers and let us eat them at intermission. She assured us that they were holding the start of the show until 8:05-8:10 because the kitchen was so backed up. We were able to finish our entrees in time for the show, but I'm not sure why the wait was so long. The food was delicious, as always.
Excellent way to celebrate New Year's Day...rather go out for brunch than dinner on the Eve. Everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant. So many entrees to choose from - pasta bar, crepes station, a different omelet station, another for waffles and of course a carving station. Kids loved the hot chocolate station and then wonderful salads, appetizers and desserts. Made a long family visit together. Great time to celebrate with family. Thanks for a wonderful day.
Food and atmosphere were great however, the waiter was slow in bringing additional water to the table.
Big family New Year’s Day brunch. Really good, good value .
Spectacular!! Brunch is delicious and wonderful! Cameron our server made our New Year Day brunch perfect with Superior service, warmth and friendliness.
Great experience overall. We had NY eve dinner. Great place, grate decorations, comfortable table and seating, good quality of food, a bit pricy though ok for special occasion. Kids menu is available. I don’t rate the experience as 5 stars because the waiting time between theater show and the dinner was 1.5 hours. It would be great if there were available places for the family to seat during that time or any kind of entertainment for that time
My wife and I went to Lucille at Drury Lane for a 6:30 p.m. dinner prior to 8:30 p.m. show of Beauty and the Beast. The food was good, however, it was a little over priced. The service was very slow. I actually try to look at the bright side of things and I let my wife know that I was paying for her time to be with me on New Years eve. We had a great time at the show and we spent good quality time together waiting for our food.
We dined New Years Eve, prior to the presentation of Beauty & the Beast.
Service was kind of slow, which may be forgivable account of the occasion. Thank goodness for the waiters support staff, as we only saw the waiter four times during our dining experience. The presentation was excellent, the servings were good. Also, the bar which we visited after the play could use many more bartenders......there were only two.
But, in spite of the lukewarm review, we plan on visiting in the future.
Happy New Year.
We had NYE reservations at 6 pm. Our server was off her game, forgot our second course went straight to the entree. Never came around to see if we wanted more cocktails. It't not as if they were flipping tables for the evening. There was a 3 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm dinner with a preset menu.
My 5 year old niece and my self loved it. She was soooo impressed at how nice & fancy it is 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.
I will definitely recommend it
The value for the food is just not there anymore. In the past the theater dinners included a salad. Now the meals are a la carte and the value is just not there anymore. I find that the theater subscription holders end up going to a different more reasonable restaurant before the theater. You should allow for a bigger discount for subscription theater holders. The 10 percent is minimal with huge increase in prices.
First time dining at Lucille. Rose was a great server giving us the options. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional! We will definitely be dining here again before seeing the play at Drury Lane!
Giving this restaurant a generous 2 stars. Service was painfully slow. Had 4:00 reservations before a 6:00 show and barely made it to our seats on time. Food was average at best; not worth the price. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
Great brunch. Bottomless champagne. Servers quite attentive. Good food selection and quality.
Was very happy with celebrating our birthdays here.
Great experience! I went here for a brunch with some friends. A large variety of food, unlimited mimosas and perfect price!
Service is quite good but extremely slow. Painfully slow at some points. The food is nothing special. My steak was pretty flavorless and at these prices it should be amazing. You are better off going to a restaurant in the mall than eating here.
We dined here prior to the show. We were very surprised at how good this place is. Tons of staff filling water, providing bread, taking away dirty plates. We were attended to right away, they had a nice selection of food and drinks. Our waiter was very good and we didn’t feel rushed at all. My wife had the salmon and I had the Tilapia. Both were exceptional. We will go back for sure
Overpriced. Server never returned during meal. Couldn’t get refills on drinks. Disappointed.
Quality food at fair prices. Lovely ambiance, good service. The Christmas Brunch was outstanding! The best brunch we ever experienced!
Didn’t know Christmas Day was a buffet . Got there are 3:15 PM the hostess did not tell us anything about where to go . She handed us a buzzer and didn’t provide any info . Then someone came to get us at 3:30 and seated us. When we were seated we where offered drinks . We sat there for an hour talking . I asked the server if there was a time limit to the buffet. That’s when we were told 5PM cut off . We rushed through eating didn’t get to experience the full offerings of the buffet.. I’m being generous with ratings because the server was friendly and did provide a carry out container.
to the Drury Lane (Lucille) buffet for Christmas and Thanksgiving several times. Over the years the price has drastically increased. It’s now up to $60 per person. It’s a very nice upscale venue that we enjoy going to, but it’s becoming too pricy. The food selection is good, but a few of the selections were out when I visited the buffet. I have Stopped recommending this place to my friends.
Have gone to Drury on Christmas for the last 6 years... This will be the LAST time... $60.00 per plate is outrageous...
Unfortunately we had the worst service we had ever had. Our server completely forgot we existed. Thank goodness for bus boys filling coffee and busing dirty dishes. Our mimosas we never refilled. I had a really hard time leaving any tip whatsoever but as someone who works in the industry I just couldn’t not leave anything. My moms coffee cup arrived with lipstick and was never replaced. We had reservations to come for a lunch and beauty and the beast but we cancelled it. Thank goodness our day was filled with good company and we didn’t concentrate on the terrible service.
This was our fourth consecutive year attending Christmas Day. It has become a tradition. The staff is cordial and efficient and food is very good. Only item I missed that I look forward to was the creme brulee but there were new items added.
We went for Christmas Day. Well worth the price. Beautiful decorations and amazing food. Not rushed to eat and great service.
Lucille Restaurant is simply Wonderful!!..My husband and I started a tradition last year by celebrating Christmas with brunch. This year, we bought my parents, sister and nephew !! What w wonderful time and laughter and fun.
Love the Christmas brunch. Very good service and beautiful atmosphere. The food was very good, but just wish there had been more cooked vegetables avaialable and that the salads did not have dressing already added. I can only eat them plain so I didn’t have that option.
We have been her before several brunches. This time we arrived at 10 and the food was COLD!! And I feel any brunch would have been just as good not a 60$ one food was not great at all was waste of money
Food was cold, stations being taken down to early, waitress had to hunt down. Expensive. Not recommended.
Lucille is always a family favorite during the Holiday season.
What an amazing experience. Beautifully decorated for the holidays and Santa was there for the children. The service was impeccable and we were so relaxed and not rushed at all. A wonderfully Xmas memory!!!
