The food was wonderful, and the live music was even better. A great set-up during these unusual times. Tables spaced nicely in the enclosed outdoor area, nice and warm with the heaters.
We had an incredible meal at Lucille, combined with a Cabaret. The food and service were outstanding! The dates stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in crisp bacon were phenomenal--and the salad was one of best we ever had. Entrees of potato-covered salmon and chicken in a balsamic reduction were perfect. Dessert: Apple crisp and vanilla gelato! Included tea, coffee, and soda. A full bar was also available.
The setting is great for the current pandemic restrictions. The Canopy doesn't feel small or tent-like; it's lovely for an evening out. Heaters are everywhere, but I still recommend that you dress for cool weather. We were both comfortable in long sleeves.
The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review was that the Cabaret entertainers spent way too much time singing Disney songs.(About 45 minutes) It was supposed to be a Broadway Musical cabaret...for adults, not kids at a matinee. There are a zillion great Broadway tunes, so we were disappointed and left at the intermission, before the "real" songs.
Service was slow & sporadic.
Food over cooked. The 3 Brussels sprout halves were charcoal balls. They should have been never plated or served.
One week earlier everything was great!
Lack of heat/warmth was a issue, loved hearing live music (beautiful voices), ambiance could be improved with more decor and carpet over concrete floor. Other outdoor tents have such accommodations. Appreciate their offering this option.
ROOM TOO COLD.
ADVERTISED BROADWAY TUNES....INSTEAD we got 1/2 DISNEY AND THE REST ELTON JOHN AND CAROL KING.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DISNEY?
THE FINAL INSULT WAS THE IMPOSITION OF $40 GRATUITY.
BAD DEAL HANDLED POORLY. NOT AGAIN.....
Food was excellent and the music was fabulous. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a fun night out.
Food and service great. Felt very safe in large open area.
The food was exquisite. The music amazing. So good to be out dining & being entertained
Went 11-9 and it was very windy and raining which might have contributed to the dampness coming from the asphalt floor. Perhaps artificial turf could have been laid down to keep the dampness from creeping up. Am skeptical of events planned in December that the cold floor would affect comfort.
They did a great job making the night special. Music started a 7. The tent was comfortable and the food good. Service was fine.
It cost more than we thought. The band charged an extra fee on top of the $85. we were told was to include dinner and show.
Service not what is expected from a facility of your caliber.
I still 20% Tipped
We had a very nice time at dinner. The food and service were very good. The only suggestion I have is to add more heaters. I had to put my coat back on because I was cold.
It’s a lovely venue the biggest problem was it was very cold. Part of it was because of the location our table was the closest to the door . It was uncomfortable to have to eat dinner with a codon at intermission we went to the car and got an additional sweater.
The entertainment was very very enjoyable it just would’ve been nice to be comfortable.
Service was pleasant but slow it took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine.
We enjoyed our evening at Drury Lane. However, the heaters were not on, and it was quite chilly. My husband, especially was quite uncomfortable.
We all were very happy with our meal and the music was so much fun. Good time had by all.
Wonderful evening. So hoping there are more coming
Went for the socially distanced live music ... couldn't believe how good the food was.
Food was great. We were very comfortable with the social distance and masks. Service was horrible from start to finish. We felt ignored even though the tables were half empty. We had to flag down the server for coffee, water, dessert, and the check. The bill was $55. Plus an automatic 20% tip. I normally tip 20% but expect much better service than we received. Do not plan to return to dine.
Very nice experience at Jazz Brunch. Band was great, food was very good. The under the canopy experience was great. Tables were very far apart and all employees were masked.
Our server was attentive. We liked the way the brunch was handled during the pandemiac.
Drury is doing a great job trying to cope with the many challenges the restaurant and entertainment industry is going through now.
Given the extreme difficulty for restaurants to survive right now, drury Lane has gone the extra mile in trying to present an inviting eating environment. It’s not ideal but under the circumstances quite good. Food was excellent.
The omelet station chef was new, told everyone she was new and didn't pay attention to her cooking. She used too much egg and didn't cook all of the egg.
My omelet was runny -- not good.
Nice to be able to enjoy brunch once again. Food was good, service was good. Quite pricey for what was offered. I’m sure it will be better once they are fully up and running. Th jazz band was great!
The selection of food was smaller than usual and it was less than the grand experience that it has been in the past
Excellent food and service; totally adhering to social distancing and face masks mandates - music: good variety and volume just right (able to carry on conversation without shouting).
Beautiful, relaxing, delicious! Loved the champagne!
I had my bday tea time for the last 3 years and will continue to have there, love it!
Still not back to what it was, especially the brunch. They didn't have any seafood when we went there, a real disappointment. The tea was pretty good - we might do that again.
I don't plan to go there again for brunch nor do I recommend it to others. I would recommend the tea service.
A delightful afternoon for high tea. Luscious food, quite plentiful (we had to take much home) and a remarkably talented harpist made the day just perfect.
The venue is beautiful and safety precautions were held to a high standard, which was comforting . The venue is lovely and it was not overcrowded. The service was also very good - our server was very nice and attentive. That is about where the praise ends. Unfortunately the food was dismal. It was very cold - clearly they prepared it the day prior and it was refrigerated overnight but with that went the flavor. They obviously didn’t take the food out and at least let it come to room temperature. The breads were dry - like sandpaper dry - the pastries had no flavor. The selection was not very impressive - very overdone on the fall flavors. But honestly I could have looked past all fo that If it hadn’t tasted sooooooo bad!! It was really disappointing. I wouldn’t waste my money here again. We left more than 70% of the food still on the plate amongst the three of us. And none of us are picky eaters! Save your money and go somewhere else if the food matters to you.
Have gone to Drury Lane many times and have always had a great experience until this last time. The food was terrible this time. My wife's steak was not cooked properly and had so much grizzle. It was taken back and fixed but tasted like it was microwaved to bring it up to temperature. Potatoes were way under seasoned. My shrimp was way overcooked and pasta was chewy. The bread was stale. Several of the menu items were not available.
Food--the melon, crab cakes, chicken were good. The beef was only so so. The cheesecake was just ok--and giving only a half a strawberry looked cheap. The sorbet tasted good but was bland looking-- a ginger snap cookie and a bit of sauce would have been nice.
Our server took forever to find printed menus. We did not bring cell phone to have a more pleasant evening. And she also had trouble using a prepaid card to pay for our wine.
Food was very good and the potion size of the entree was more than I expected. The background music was what I had hoped for. Perfect level for listening to but able to carry on a conversation at the table. It was a relaxing enjoyable evening.
Outstanding ambiance and service!
The music, cozy and give us so many remembrance
Wonderful night at Lucille’s. I highly recommend. The food was delicious and great entertainment.
The food was delicious and the staff are gracious and helpful. We enjoyed the music and everything was very clean and thoroughly enjoyable. It was very cold when we entered the building and after about 30 minutes later we were able to remove our coats I thought the heat should have been already on before patrons arrive. We had a good time.
Such a pleasure! Food was superb.
Music was pleasant.
A wonderful experience.
I am a season pkg ticket holder I expected more Broadway pep, that was just ballroom music. I thought I read there would be a person singing the songs. The food was ok, I have had better every time I eat there.
