Lucille at Drury Lane
The Tilapia was unedable due to its oily nature. The Maitre D' handled the problem excellently, and brought another main course, which was excellent.
My friend and I enjoyed our lunch at Lucille’s very much. Our waiter was gracious and attentive, and the food is delicious! We’ll be back again!
Food was delicious. Wait staff was very attentive. Beautiful place.
The ambiance was wonderful as always.,,prime rib like butter...disappointed however with the cannoli and the chicken parmesan. Cannoli was soft and too sweet and chicken park only fair,
Fabio wasn’t his usual fabulous server self. Everything came out piecemeal, too warm or too cold, or just plain wrong. No checkin “how is everything?”
Chef-Demi-awesome (if not very accurate-but who’s accountable for the guest)? Yes, the.... drum 🥁 roll...
Server- distracted, inattentive, overwhelmed
We’ll try again in the future!
Very convenient if you have a show to attend. The food and service has improved considerably in the last year or so.
Lucille is a quiet and easy place to enjoy dinner before the show at Drury Lane Theater. The food is quite good with generous portions and the desserts are sized to share.
Great place if you are going to the show. Very convenient to arrive about an hour and a half before the show and just walk in after finishing dinner.
Excellent food for good value. It was clear that the subscription members received extra service. we will enjoy again in the future.
My pork chop came with BBQ sauce that was not on the menu. The BBQ sauce overpowered the flavor of the pork chop which was overcooked.
We are season-ticket holder‘s at Drury lane and have eaten at Lucille‘s often. While the restaurant is gorgeous and the food is good, the service is often spotty. At the beginning of our meal, the service was quite good but then became poor towards curtain time. Typically we enjoy eating there mostly for the convenience of walking right into the theater.
The menu is limited but the dinner was enjoyable
we have dined at Lucille's several time before enjoying the theater. our experiences at Lucille's has always been excellent.
Have been dining here for years but the fish was awful. The tilapia selection changed from our previous time dining. It was heavily breaded, greasy and dry. Because of our gray experience with this entree in the past five of us ordered it and all five of us were terribly disappointed. One even took I’ll and didn’t get to see the play. The sixth guest had the steak and enjoyed it while noted the portion was much smaller. The manager did offer to get us new enters but we refused. We home that you return to previous menu for our next play lunch.
We had a great time food was good
I have eaten Brunch at several places, but this place I always go back to because of the variety of food and the attentive service.
Overall I would love to give this restaurant an A+, but due to the slow service, I’ll have to rate it an A-, everything else was exceptional!!!
The filet mignon was tender and delicious as always.
In previous dinners that we have had at Lucille,s we were often given the choice of sides and "sauces" (if appropriate). I do not like my potatoes in a sauce, neither did my guest with the steak. Did not like the sauce, neither did my guests. Not like the flavor. Steaks were good. Chicken dry. Dessert of Taramasui very good.
The food is always good...the soups are especially tasty!
I love the choices, and the wait staff is friendly and helpful!
I’ve been going for years with my grandfather and recently with my mom to dinner before our play. Last time I was bummed because they changed the Brussels sprout dish and it was my favorite. This time they no longer had any choices for the steak dish for sauce and I attempted to give the Brussels Sprouts one more try... bummer they were not the old balsamic recipe. I know menus change but still disappointed in no choice for the steak anymore(now it’s only bordelaise) & vegetable dish wasn’t what I had hoped for.
Dinner was good. But lacked good service. Our waiter was not very attentive to our table. All other tables around us waiters checked on their table 2-3 times before we seen our waiter. I waited 15 minutes to receive my bill after requesting. After receiving my bill I notice it was incorrect which took an additional 10 minutes to correct. I was eating here because it was convenient, we were here for a play. I’m not to sure I will eat here again when coming to this theater. The manager offer 10% off our bill.
Service outstanding food okay if you like lemon with half lemon tarts cubcumber sandwiches not a good value no choclate
We enjoyed our meal - medallions of beef, but thought the special dessert (peach/pineapple upside down cake in a pool of caramel) was very dry, overly sweet and overpriced at $12.00.
Otherwise service was very good.
What a wonderful time my family and myself had. Food was good.
Cameron who was our waiter was excellent!
Thank you !!!
The service and ambiance are awesome! Love that place!
We had brunch and went to the play.
The food was very delicious. Lots of choices. The service was excellent. I especially liked the never ending mimosas. A bit pricey though. I recommend this brunch to anyone looking for a high end elegant dinning experience.
Plenty of variety to choose your favorites. One of the better brunches I have attended.
As a first time customer my overall dining experience was excellent and I look forward to the next one.
Lovely restaurant, friendly staff. Food is good but was disappointed that they did not have the scallops. We were there at the start of the dinner period so it seems odd that they were out of them already. Also, the kitchen was backed up and it took a long time to get our food. Was getting worried as we had tickets for the 8PM play. Server was very attentive and kept checking on us which was great. Chocolate cake was delicious.
Eating at Lucille’s made the evening more special. We did the pre-dinner theater option which I highly recommend. The tomato basil soup was delicious and my steak was made exactly as ordered. The service was top notch attentive but not overly attentive! I will definitely go and also try their brunch!
The soup was excellent. Good wait staff. Nice bread options. Plenty of room and easy to visit with guests.
Buffet is large and has most things but limited on providing a variety of different cold salads. It's expensive so bring a good appetite.
We were pleasantly surprises. The food was excellent and the wait staff also. We will definitely do this again.
The one thing that we were disappointed with was that most of the food was not hot at all, unless it was made exactly at the time taken. (Is omelet or pasta). Also, I am allergic to fish so I obviously don’t eat any of that, which seems like it would drive up the cost of brunch. It would be nice to have a lower price for people like me and somehow monitor that station so that only those paying the full price would have access to the seafood. We also brought two elderly guests who didn’t drink any champagne-seems like they should have a lower cost too.
Attended Mystery Tea. Very nice. Liked that we had our own table for 4. Good tea selection, too.
Very disapointed when the French Onion soup was removed from the menu. It is our "go-to every time we dine there. Need a better variety of lunch items.
I only get a chance to get to Lucille's once or twice a year but in all the years I have been attending it still is tops in my book. The best place for brunch around!
