Had the tea service there. It was so tasty!!
The only criticism I have is that it took about 30 minutes to get our drink order, as they only had one bartender working the dinner rush on a Saturday night. Our server was excellent and the food was outstanding.
Excellent deconstructed lettuce tacos and Gr8 waffle fries with alioli
Excellent food and service! Loved it!
Room is always too cold. Peculiar, limited menu, with dishes somewhat impossible to eat without making a mess. Cocktails were just ok. Saving grace was our lovely, considerate waitress
Always love my experience at The Table At Crate. Ambience is quiet and easy. Happy Hour wines are good and a good price. Happy Hour appetizers could be a bit more generous. It was 2 of us and REALLY SMALL servings. Other than that food is good and of course the drink ware and table ware are the bomb!
The BEST sweet potatoes!!
Great food, but small’ish portions. Service was poor - friendly, but slow and inattentive.
Food and ambiance was great!
So glad you enjoyed!!!!! Thank you for the super feedback!
We had a lovely dinner sharing several entrees - liked them all. Waited was very helpful and attentive.
Our waiter was outstanding and so nice and friendly. We shared 3 dishes and 2 desserts and they were all delicious.
The menu is limited and pricey. Overall a good place to hangout on a Sunday afternoon and people-watching.
The food wasn't bad but didn't stand out. The menu did not excite. I thought it was overpriced for what looked like fresh, quality food that I could have made at home.
Excellent service all around, from the host to the waiter. Very family friendly. Love the decor. The menu could vary a bit since it is a rather small menu. After dining 2-3 times, you pretty had the entire menu. Everything I had on the menu has been delicious. The shishito peppers are a bit underwhelming though. Best dishes are the salmon, lemon chicken, shrimp poke bowl, and mushroom fricasse. Looking forward to just grabbing coffee and a pastry to go.
The restaurant was very cute however I was not a fan of the food. I ordered the special which was chicken Katsu Ramen. That was not Katsu. It was basically my daughter's chicken nuggets thrown on top.
Katsu is normally a tempura breaded chicken. The noodles were mushy and the soup base not flavorful. We ordered the waffle fries with Aioli and the Fingerling Sweet Potatoes. Sorry $8 for a small amount of fries and $9 for 5 circles of Sweet Potatoes. Way overpriced. I would try this place again and just try to order something else.
Love the cocktails, wine list, food but they could improve the dessert menu. Not many selections and none appealed to me.
Fantastic food and service. Creative, modern-day (gf, v, etc.) options with so much flavor. The sweet potatoes with maple glaze from the appetizers are very unique. Appetizer portions are big. The entree portions are just the right size. I’ll definitely be going back to try more from the menu. Make reservations as the walk-in wait is long.
Just love the casual, yet classy vibe at the restaurant. Chef Bill Kim has done it again - perfect flavors, perfectly executed, along with a great wait staff and management. Who says that Retail Stores can't complete with stand alone restaurants?
We enjoyed the tea but it was a little pricey—$20 for a glass of champagne?? Maybe more finger sandwiches vs. mashed potatoes & chkn salad. Service was great. Great ambiance. Prob wouldn’t do the tea again but maybe stop by for cofffee/dessert or wine/appetizers.
Restaurant is conveniently located in Oak Brook Mall. I thought that the menu was diverse and offered a lot of fun options- I really enjoyed the different cocktails. The plating was beautiful and the food was good. I felt like the service was a little slow and when we ordered coffee it came out ice cold which was disappointing.
The food is absolutely delicious - I had the Niçoise salad which I found a little pricey at $25 for lunch. My husband had the burger which he loved. Setting and service are wonderful. The featured sparking rose was also fantastic.
The Table at Crate was upscale and a nice ambiance. Very fresh and modern. The foos choices appealed to many. We had a shrimp poke bowl that was keto-friendly. The specialty drink selection was small but had some interesting options.
Brilliant idea having such a wonderful restaurant in the best store ever. We will definitely come back. Lovely evening
The orechiette with shrimp was amazing! loved the sauce
I brought new people to the Table bu the noise level was too high. Both said they wouldn't comeback because of that although they liked the food.
Food was delicious and a good value. Nice presentation. Service was slow.
Had Saturday lunch here with a friend before shopping. Drinks and food were delicious. I am vegan and they had vegan options which is perfect. You would be surprised at how many places cannot accommodate this but they were well prepared with menu items. I wanted to just live there I love all the glassware and dinnerware they have (obviously all from the store) I would definitely dine again.
The prices are a bit high. I visit restaurants in the city all the time but this is Oakbrook and it’s part of the Crate and Barrel store. Prices could come down a few bucks
The ambience is amazing! The service is excellent! And the food was delicious
The spinach artichoke dip is really good and the lemon chicken was sooo yummy! Definitely recommend. I did not like the cookies as a dessert because they tasted like biscuits, almost stale.
Denise was the best!!!
The food is fresh, interesting & creatively presented. We enjoyed 2 apps, entrees, desserts & 2 drinks, all for $125 for lunch. So not inexpensive but well worth the treat. My friend has Celiacs & they easily accommodated. We will b back to enjoy the tea service!
Very unique dining experience. Excellent food and service.
Love the ambience of The Table! Delicious options and were very accommodating to all my food allergies, which is always appreciated. Service was attentive but not overly intrusive and had great recommendations. Will definitely be going back!
Visited for a late lunch and was very pleased to find multiple vegan dishes on the menu. The service was prompt and attentive to the needs of our table. The food was delicious and portions sized to allow several people to share multiple dishes.
I was pleasantly surprised with my meal. I had the Tomato-Basil soup and the Chicken BLT Tartine. The flavors were wonderful! I found myself trying to identify all of the wonderful, hidden flavors I was tasting. The staff were pleasant and the service was good. Chef Kim has a winner with this casual and inviting menu. I truly enjoyed every bite.
Sadly disappointing! Overpriced & nothing special. I had a Quinoa Poke Bowl with Shrimp 🍤 that was fine. My friend had a Banana Split dessert served on Banana Bread that was as hard & dry as a hockey puck. And get this - it was $11.00!! Don’t waste your time.
Perfect! Loved the food choices and quality.
Been to The Table at Crate 2 times now. In the summer, we sat outside and had small bites. Food was good and the presentation was even better! Of course, because it is Crate and Barrel the glassware and tableware are amazing! This time, met a friend for dinner and sat inside. Absolutely so cozy and nice view of Oakbrook Mall and fountain outside even in the dead of winter. They have a Happy Hour which had a good choice of red and white wine at a good value. The appetizers we shared were small portions but we just ordered a bit more. Not a deal breaker. Definitely recommend for a quiet and cozy place to go to for a night out.
