Cheese, charcuterie and wine were excellent. Probably the best selection of cheese I have had since my trip to Italy last year. We tried several menu items from the rest of the menu as well. The beef cheek fried rice was a real winner. The mac and cheese was also very tasty. We weren't as pleased with the charred pork belly and duck liver ravioli, and would probably stick to cheese and charcuterie next time. Overall a great restaurant with excellent service and a great ambiance.

The porterhouse for two was excellent! However the gnocchi rice it was served with was NOT! It was greasy and frankly gross. The Brussel sprouts were very good. The cheese and meat board was wonderful!

We went for Valentine's and they had a prie fixe menu with 2 options for each of 5 courses at $75 per person. I've been to this restaurant before and the food is amazing as it was tonight. However, the tasting menu left us wanting more in terms of portion size even after 5 courses it just wasn't enough food. At $75 per guest I expect to be stuffed! Will return but definitely prefer the regular menu, their plates are generally large shareable size so this was a bit of a letdown on that note. Food was delicious though and service was great as usual!

Went for Valentines Day. I had been before and it was an excellent experience but for Valentine’s Day it was a price fix menu which was very expensive and not that much food. Would recommend the restaurant but definitely not for Valentines Day.

I would not recommend Haven’s fixed price menu on Valentine’s Day. While I have had fixed price menus on many occasions before, the plates at Haven were woefully small and unfilling (one ravioli?) and the taste of the dishes was either overpowering or under seasoned. There was also no cohesion. It was all over the place. The value for the money was very low. I love Haven and Berns and would go any other time so I really hope they rethink their fixed price selection and value. Service and ambiance was great, as always!

Service was fantastic, one of the best waitresses I've ever had! The restaurant was beautiful and ambiance was perfect. Then there was the food...a complete let down. The kitchen didn't believe in seasoning, the food was bland/lacked flavor or it had one note. It has all the elements of a great place but when someone pays over $200 for dinner it's not unreasonable to ask for good food.

Service was a bit slow but that’s probably just the nature of the restaurant (wine, charcuterie, small plates, etc). Our server was very helpful and informative. We went for a friends birthday and a manager brought out a complimentary champagne toast which was lovely and unexpected. Everyone’s meal was DELICIOUS but would have liked to see a little bit of a larger portion for price point— all in all I would highly reccomend this place for a girls night or a special occasion!

Small plates very good. Service great and nice wine list. If you like to eat small plates it is a place to try. Nice neighborhood atmosphere.

The food was amazing! Truly the best Ribeye I’ve ever eaten and coming from Portland, I’m picky! Everything we tried was out of this world. Highly recommend the scallops and pork belly to start. And the au gratin potatoes are to die for. Every dish had a uniqueness with incredible flavors - loved every bite. Fantastic wine selection and impeccable service. This is not just an average hotel restaurant! Worth a trip to try it.

Horrible. Waiter was very nice, but he was jobbing I felt bad for the guy we still left him a great tip but we did go without wine and food for quiet some time. Also we ordered a cheese board and waited 45 mins just for a cheese board. Cheese was excellent. Main courses not so good. Pork belly was weird it was all chopped up in grease? Duck ravioli was sweet like candy, gross. Pork tacos were ok, lacked a little flavor but ok. Wine was good, prices were high and the quantity of the .5L didn’t match the price and the 1L was more than 1L. Won’t go back, so loud we had to shout to talk to each other. Left hungry and wanting more. Terrible don’t waste your time there.

I don't recall the exact names of the tapes we ordered, but we had the duck liver ravioli which was ok. I may just not like duck liver, but all the other flavors were great. The brussel sprouts were delicious! The steak tartar was good, but not great. It could use more flavor. The wine selection was great! Nice ambiance. Pricing was a little high for the food quality. Maybe it was just the dishes we chose, but I'm not jumping for joy to go back when there are so many other delicious options in the area.

We ordered several different dishes and more than one of them were a little salty for our taste.
The service was great almost all throughout the dinner.
Will try it again soon.

Good experience. This time food had too much salt also the noise level is so high you can barely hear the people on your own table.

Hope they do something to decrease the noise like curtains and wall rugs as otherwise the experience was good.

We went there for my mom's birthday and I chose it because she is very into good food, and she loves talking to waiters and waitresses about their specialty foods. We loved it and it was perfect for what we were looking for! Everyone there was very knowledgable on food, cheese, and wine. It was a little loud but it wasn't distracting, I believe it just added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

We are weekly regulars at Haven, and despite the wonderful food scene that is the Tampa Bay area with so many fine and worthy establishments, we have discontinued going elsewhere. The cocktails, the wine selections, the food, and primarily the staff, are all superb! We highly recommend Haven to anyone who ventures across this review: do yourself a favor, and make a reservation at Haven!

The only thing is we did mention it was my birthday but nothing was done for it. Otherwise , we were very pleased with the experience and the variety of food with reasonable pricing. We will definitely go back.

The shareable plates are generous portions. We can’t say enough about the friendliness or professionalism of the staff. Christina waited on us and did a fantastic job! The outdoor seating under a heater was very pleasant on a cool night. We HIGHLY recommend the Beef Cheek Fried Rice.

Had the most exceptional waiter. Clearly loves his job. Great wine list on the pricey side. Trust the monger let them make the plate. Haven’t had a bad one yet.

Food was delicious-especially the brocoli salad which, LaMarl, our server suggested. LaMarl was very attentive to our needs. Water glasses never empty.
Ambiance was crisp and fresh looking.

Unfavorable experience with the parking-the lot was nearly empty-valet stand right in lot. Having had poor experience with valeting in the past-said we would park vehicle and gladly pay valet. Valet refused-“against policy. Frankly absurd-parking was right in front of valet. Had to go three blocks to self park.
Other than that-service was excellent. Had duck confit and sea bass, both were only fair.

Amazing! Our server was incredibly courteous, knowledgeable about the cuisine, and offered excellent recommendations of wine. We have been twice in one week. It’s our new go-to spot.

Lovely setting in spite of noisy bar even on a Monday evening.
Menu extraordinary-diversified and extremely interesting. Approximately 50 cheese selection-each for five dollars.
(Wait staff very helpful here)
Multiple additional small dishes, all at reasonable prices, involving beef, Pork, fish, vegetables and pastas.
Blend of flavors exceptional and will delete any palate.
Desserts Imaginative!

We went for a birthday dinner, my wife and I. Our server was excellent. He explained how the restaurant was set up and how to order best for our group size. He had outstanding knowledge of both the food and the drink menu. The food was spectacular. If you love cheese, bourbon and wine Haven is the place for you. On a side note the brussel sprouts are a must get.

Exceptional food and service. Our waiter was very professional and took the time to explain both drink and food menus to our guests who were new to Haven. This is not a tapas restaurant, but the focus on charcuterie, cheeses and small dishes makes it great for sharing among people who enjoy expertly prepared and crafted food of any kind. We were celebrating a birthday, which I noted on the reservation, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that it did indeed feel like a special occasion for all of us. Without question one of the finest restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.

LaMarl was an exemplary server who was so well-spoken and well versed on the features of the menu that he had our mouth watering before we even ordered. The service at Haven was outstanding, the food delectable, and Natalie’s cocktails were fantastic! If you’re not sure what to order or just want to be surprised, ask the staff and you won’t be mislead. It is apparent that the chefs take full pride in their creations!

From the moment we walked in the door and were greeted by the friendly staff, to the end of our meal when the chef personally came out to our table to make sure everything was perfect..the experience was fantastic. We will be back!

The best top chef quality dinner I have had in Tampa in 15 years here. Best waiter Louie! Let the waiter pick your items cheese and meat plate and the octopus is soooo much better than you are thinking!

We came to Haven because we couldn’t get reservation at Bern’s but we don’t regret it at all. Hostess was very nice and sweet and our server Adrian was professional and knowledgeable. Everything we ordered was delicious especially the Brussels sprouts. The Charcuterie board was beautifully presented with a date paste, a chutney, a gourmet mustard, some nuts and tons of cheeses to choose from. Fantastic place and we had a great time.
