highly recommended. a restaurant we always return to when visiting Santa Fe. Seasonal menu with new items added. smooth, professional service, perfect pacing of courses and an excellent wine list. A perfect dining experience.
Outstanding service. Excellent food. Wonderful evening.
The staff continues to amaze us with their world class service and professionalism! The chef is awesome!
Always wonderful. We go every time we are in Santa Fe.
A warm welcome at the door. A very comfortable environment to enjoy your meal.
The secret to this restaurant is not only the outstanding food, but the fact that the wait staff enjoy their jobs and it shows! A little comment here and there, for example, “you’re going to love the crispy sprouts” as your plate is put on the table followed by a warm smile.
Amazingly delicious food and a superb staff! A must-do when visiting Santa Fe.
Really lovely. Seamless service from beginning to end and great food. We completely enjoyed our evening.
Great dining experience! Amazing food and service. It’s a step above everything else in Santa Fe.
Very nice up-scale restaurant featuring superb cuisine. We have eaten at many top restaurants and Geronimo's is one of the best in the country. Get a reservation ahead of time. You will not be sorry. (The Meyer's Lemon Crepe is an outstanding way to finish the meal.)
The space was interesting with different rooms in an old adobe Santa Fe style building. Very comfortable and cozy. Well trained staff and over the top food.
First time dining at Geronimo and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food and service.
A must dinner experience! Very special and service and meal was outstanding!
A truly wonderful experience, one of the best meals my wife and I have had together - we will be back!
Our waiter Franck was great!!
Another wonderful dinner! Great service and terrific food!
Fabulous as usual. The Wasabi Caesar salad is the best ever- not to be missed!,
Hands down the best meal I have ever had! I cannot wait to return!!!!
Beautiful as always. Great service and perfectly executed dishes.
This is absolutely the best "fancy" restaurant in Santa Fe. Everything is perfect ambience, wait staff, food, wine. Sometimes difficult to get a reservation, so book in advance.
Craig was fantastic, always our favorite upscale dining experiences.
SO delicious. Pricey, but what isn’t in Santa Fe? And this was worth it.
We went to what were considered "the best restaurants" in Santa Fe, and Geronimo was, by far, the best. The Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Sashimi & Tartare with Buttermilk-Scallion Pancakes, Wasabi Aioli, Avocado, Soy Lime Syrup & Caviar was phenomenal. The Fujisaki Asian pear salad and charcoal-roasted beet salad also were exceptional, combining a tantalizing spectrum of flavors and textures. All of our entrees were superb, including the New Mexico Four Corners grilled rack of lamb (pea puree and roasted leeks were a beautiful touch), beef tenderloin & frites (five dipping sauces were wonderful), and green miso sea bass (the truffle and lobster sauces with ramen noodles were intense). The desserts were equally outstanding, including the Sous Vide Strawberry Shortcake, German Chocolate Cake, and Banana Cream Pie. The wine list was the best that we encountered in Santa Fe, including a nice selection of half bottles and dessert wines. The service was excellent, and we had a nice visit after the meal with the affable chef/owner Sllin Cruz. Don't miss this spectacular restaurant, which should easily be awarded one or two Michelin stars.
Geronimo has perfected the dining experience. The staff, from the valet to retrieving your coats at the end of the meal, is genuine, pleasant, and have absolutely zero pretense. They are there to make the experience the best it can possibly be, and check it regularly to see how they are doing. The staff shares its starring role with the food, which is exceptional. We had the Caesar and Asian Pear salads, the scallops and pork chop, and a strawberry shortcake. Every item was prepared to perfection, with unique seasoning and sauces. I'm not a big veg lover, but the veg garnish that came with the pork chop was so good, I could have eaten a plate of it on its own. We have eaten in many five star restaurants around the world, and Geronimo is among the best, and deserves every five star rating it has received.
My only comment (which isn't Geronimo's issue really) is the restaurant has a quiet and serene ambience, which we sought in this dinner, however, there was a party of four women whose conversation could be overheard by the entire room. I kept wishing there was a way to tactfully remind the women that the people they were speaking to were right across the table from them, not across the room. I gave the restaurant a moderate noise level rating for this reason, but it's really a quiet place if the patrons realize they have the ability to modulate the level of their voices. We could hear no other table of 4 in the room.
Unfortunately I had the tuna tartar and sashimi and the tuna sashimi was old. Could not eat it.
Our experience at Geronimo exceeded all expectations. Our table was quiet and romantic, and the service was impeccable. My sea bass was amazing and my husband loved the marinated elk. We will most definitely return next time we are in Santa Fe.
I had heard that this is a fairly special place and I was a bit skeptical but I took a group of nine of my associates from my professional group and we were all thoroughly impressed with not only the service but the atmosphere and the food..
Excellent service and great food the scallops were cooked perfectly and the sides were well composed to make a great tasting and visually appealing dinner. The recommended wine pairing was excellent. the Crème Brule was amazing - I could have eaten two.
In town for shopping and girls night out! Never disappointing. Delicious!
Santa Fe is touted for its excellent restaurants. Most do not live up to the hype. Geronimo does. When Eric DiStefano took over as chef he raised the already high standards. Unfortunately, he died about 3 years ago. The present chef is supremely talented. It's hard to get good fish in Santa Fe, but Geronimo managed to serve great fish. The elk tenderloin was also delicious. The service is excellent as well.
Geronimo was recommended by a few people in our organization and one of our dinner guests was also eating there the following night and his response to this was "the food and service is so good, I don't mind going there two nights in a row".
The best dinner we’ve had in a while.
have been here several times, each time the food has been expertly prepared and the service staff are very knowledgable and accommodating. fun evening.
.Superb, from the moment we entered until we left. Incredible meal, service, and atmosphere. A 10 out of 10. Pricey, but worth it! Highly recommend.
My husband surprised me with a lovely birthday dinner here and it was one of the most wonderful nights out we have had in a while. The food was amazing and every last detail was impeccably executed. Our server was more than accommodating and attentive. Our favorites of the evening were the sashimi/tartare and elk tenderloin, but really, every dish was lovely. I look forward to coming back and trying something else on their menu. :)
Unbelievable meal from end to end.
Best food we have had in a long time, but the service and friendly staff are what wrapped the experience into a most enjoyable evening.
Food was absolutely amazing. Had the Sea bass and tuna tartare - as good as anything I’ve ever had. Grant was a rockstar server. Very knowledgeable and prompt.
Great food, service an ambiance. Every thing that we ordered was delicious. The veggie tasting menu was really good and flavorful. To help fill the gaps of the tasting menu, others at the table received a small bite so we didn't sit there staring at the one w/ the tasting menu. The wine and cocktails were fantastic. The lamb and the fish were very tasty. I would come here again.
