   This restaurant holds uniqueness among other very few where you find excellence at every level: the environment, the service, the wine selection, the breads, entrees, main courses and desserts. While not inexpensive, the whole experience is an introduction to an intentional formation of a tradition of sorts. You want to be back to celebrate “special occasions”, to treat yourselves.

   Food was excellent as always. Our servers, Slade & Johnny, were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. Still the best restaurant in Santa Fe! Great job all around.

   We have eaten at Geronimo’s a number of times. We love where we were seated again this birthday dinner - front room on the left with a booth, so we could sit next to one another. My impression of the food - the breadbasket was relatively skimpy compared to previous times. The initial champagne (complimentary) was short on content as well - again. (These observations are based on previous dinners there.) The young lady hostess was delightful! As were the other servers (though we missed Ricky(?)…the carpaccio was absolutely delicious (again less serving size than previous times), as was the elk! We will be back. Thank you!

   Just terrific restaurant experience from start to finish. Ambiance is tasteful and elegant. Our server was great and extremely professional. All three courses we had were delicious and the plating was beautiful.

   GERONIMO’S - STILL AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME Had dinner last night // From start to finish, food, drinks, service, ambiance were a 10 out of 10 // FOOD - (1) Appetizers - mushroom special + mushroom soup - an intense flavor immersion to start the evening // Four varieties of mushrooms with great flavor additions // FUN // (2) Entrees - The lobster dish and the gnocchi were both wonderful // Lobster was very powerful with a spicy pasta base and the gnocchi was very light and and a wonderful contrast to the mushroom soup // (3) Dessert - Just had the lemon crepe that Geronimo’s has kept on the menu “forever” // This version was one of the best // DRINKS - Cocktails were creative, well balanced and a nice start to the evening // Wines by the glass worked well with the food choices (which is something that some restaurants overlook) // AMBIANCE - Simply put - a corner table in the main dining room - PERFECT // SERVICE - Just ask for Dienke as your wait person and let her manage the evening // That said, I have always felt that Geronimo’s staff - top to bottom - are very well trained //
