Seated promptly with a reservation. Served right away. Our server was pleasant, but not super friendly. It was a very busy night. We have eaten here before and are familiar with the menu. I always get the same thing as nothing else looks better. They need to update their menu. Adding a scallop dish and cheesecake would be great. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Manzanas was my choice 4 my birthday dinner . We've been coming here for years and enjoy the great food, good service and lovely ambience with varied menu at reasonable prices. Our reservations were seamless. Service was gracious and attentive. The special was prime rib. We ordered med rare - it was delicious. (It could have been a bit more rare / moist for our preference but no complaints). My mom ordered the scallops and lime cilantro rice - very nice - plated on a swath of pasilla pepper glaze for dipping. The scallops were cooked perfectly but over-salted. The chicken and gravy with mashed potatoes as always were scrumptious. (tip - their gravy is wonderful- ask for extra!) I recommend the dark meat as the breast can be a bit dry. Peach iced tea was the beverage of choice around the table for most. It's the best I've had. For dessert we all shared a slice of the delectable chocolate ganache "pie" with fresh slices of banana on a buttery choc chunk cookie crust with whipped cream drizzled in caramel. Compliments of the house for my birthday - a very pleasant surprise! Healthy portions left us with leftovers to take home. Will definitely be back! MoreOpenTable Diner -
Situated to the southeast of Portland’s downtown, Clackamas is a suburb with a small-town feel. Charming restaurants dot the area with many accessible right off the interstate. Choices range from easy-going diners and delicatessens to Asian cuisine. Options include entrees like eggs benedict, Japanese sushi, and German pancakes. If you’re in the mood for beer and schnitzel, you’re in luck. There are quite a few German-style pubs and grills around, along with coffeehouses to retire to after a hearty meal. Those looking for a more south-of-the-border experience can indulge in the various Mexican restaurants that also exist in the Clackamas suburb.
