The catering staff at Nicoletta’s Table brings the same love and dedication to every meal we serve in our restaurant right to your home, business or party venue. Whether it’s a special family occasion, a corporate event or a wedding, our attention to the smallest details, and an unerring quest for fabulous cuisine.
It was a lively evening but the service was still excellent. Our server, Dori, doubled as bartender when we had some special cocktail requests. She was outstanding- her patient, friendly demeanor made our night! The chef stopped by our table so we had the opportunity to let him him know that the cod was cooked to perfection.
Wonderful ambiance, food, and service. A local favorite and great event space.
Great food. Super slow service. Glass tables need cloth. Too cold. Dining room environment poorly designed.
The 6 of us dined here last week and had a marvelous meal. The service was outstanding, especially considering it was a busy Friday night. I had the seared scallops campesante on bed of pasta—delicious.
Wonderful food and wine. We loved our experience.
The food is REAL Italian food! Not Americanized Italian food!! Delicious, simple yet authentic. Our server, Mark was delightful. We will return soon
This is the third year a small group I belong to has chosen Nicoletta’s for its annual holiday outing. They are very good at catering to “Ladies Who Lunch.” Our waiter, Mark, actually prepared separate checks for the nine of us, and divided the cost of a bottle of Prosecco among the seven of us who had partaken. How exceptional is THAT? The food is casual and quite good, with a range of options that pleased the 2-1/2 vegetarians among us, as well as everybody else. Desserts were excellent also.
It was awesome!!
Another enjoyable dinner and evening catching up with friends and filling up on delicious food!
Great Italian dishes, very charming scenery and the shop has really classy items.
Company Christmas dinner for 30. Appetizers, main course and beverages wonderful as always. Dinner plates came out at the same time and hot. Wait staff were excellent and to be commended!
Nicoletta's starts with shopping lovely and tasty Italian goods just inside the door; and from there to wonderfully delicious dining. Service is prompt and friendly, and the various dishes are wonderful. A great place to eat if you're attending the theater across State Street. Who knew such a gem could exist in a strip mall!!
Our food was interesting and delicious. Our waiter was especially good for there were 8 of us and a lot of special requests.
Cute spot and good food but the selections are over-priced relative to portion size. For example, a $15 steak salad -- which I thought could be a meal -- came with 2 oz. of steak, at best. Flavors and presentation are nice but be prepared to pay a lot and leave hungry.
We have eaten here before and the food and service has been terrific. But it wasn't this last time! The food was so disappointing. We were told we could order the Cioppino (which is no longer on the current menu), and I thought that was very nice that they allowed it. But when it came it was just heavy marina sauce with seafood- actually gave me heartburn. The ravioli special was really oily and made my husband feel ill. Even the basic spaghetti and meatball dish was ho-hum. Our waitress got one of the meals mixed up and challenged that she had it right and we were wrong (even though everyone in the party remembered the order). She also let us know the printed price of the wine was incorrect and that the bottle was $8 more (they should have honored the printed price). The only good thing I can say about the restaurant is the ambiance is warm and inviting. Sorry to say we won't be back.
Our friends, who dined with us, are vegan and they both ended up ordering spaghetti with just olive oil and garlic. I called ahead to ask if there were vegan options and was told there were. But I felt our friends didn't have options.
Amazing food, love that virtually everything
made in house! Great portions, healthy fresh
Produce delectable, light desserts!
Excellent service and food. There are three dining rooms and make sure you are seated in the room with the kitchen. The counter seating facing the kitchen does not have a great grill view.
We took our son and his girlfriend to Nicoletta’s Table last weekend. The special Swordfish was the best meal we’ve had in a long time. I like the cozy atmosphere and the Italian feel. We would definitely go back soon.
Headed to a play
Went here for anniversary. Perfect food, wine and romantic atmosphere. Great evening!
Dinner was very nice, I brought out of town guests and the ambience was positively commented on by them. I had the steamed clams and salad, which more than filled me up. My guests loved their warm spinach salad which they split, and paired it with pasta dish. Be sure to make reservations as they do fill up.
I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. There was a little sauce in the spaghetti but the meatballs were completely dry. I asked for a little sauce to moisten the meatballs. They drought me a tiny saucer of red sauce and charged 2 dollars. For a 120 dollar meal , I feel they should have given me a tablespoon of sauce. I won’t be back. There are too many places with good customer service and equally decent food
Food is always exceptional. Service is below average. Slow, inattentive. Takes away from the experience. I returned the next day to purchase their salt and pepper shakers which are very good. Mid afternoon and I had a very hard time getting anyone to take my $. Finally went into their annex where a young woman was preparing for an event. Agreed to help but was surly, no thank offered. Disappointing.
Easy to obtain reservations at odd times. On arrival warm greetings were appreciated.
Staff very efficient, competent , informative and helpful.
Many authentic Italian specialties on the menu. Well prepared and highly flavorful food elegantly displayed on plates. Bread and crackers accompanying food, excellent and ample.
A tantalizing selection of salads presented, good soups and to end the meal a tantalizing choice of deserts.
This was our first visit to Nicoletta's and we were seriously impressed by the quality and variety of the offerings, the capabilities and Knowledge of the staff, the warmth of the environment and the pleasant view of the kitchen.
Obviously we will have to return many times to be able to sample all of the authentic renderings of some old Italian favorites.
Thank you for making all this possible.
We made a reservation pre-theater and all was handled beautifully. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. I appreciated that there are various rooms and seating settings so that you could feel comfortable as a single person, a couple, friends or a large group. It has a fun vibe with small gift, floral, and take-out areas in the main area that one enters the restaurant. The house meatball appetizers were excellent as was the halibut cheek special. I definitely will return and recommend to friends.
Great place to eat. I’ve never had a bad meal there and I’ve eaten there a dozen times.
It was great but our table was crowded in the middle of the restaurant, waitpersons bumped us serving other tables.
I really appreciate Nicoletta's Table because it's so comfortable. The tables are not on top of each other. You can converse without shouting, and you can pick up your fork without bumping into the person at the next table. Our family group of 6 chose it for the tasty food (lots of options!) and good service, but we appreciated the ambience even more. It's a good choice for people who want to actually converse over a meal.
Excellent food, service, and not rushed like many places. Friendly staff and comfortable ambience.
Thanks Nicoletta's Table and Marketplace, we will be back!
First time diners...will be sure to return! The pasta special was truly extraordinary....
Wonderful meal, exceptional service! Thank you for making my birthday dinner so wonderful!
Made a reservation for four at 5:30 (definitely not crowded that early!) but were given a table too close to desk and not in the dining room I had hoped for by the kitchen area.
Loved the bread, high quality olive oil and the grilled Caesar salad.
Met out of town friends for dinner/conversation. All four of us were happy with the service/food and conversation! We eat here often - I generally have one of their specials - ALWAYS a treat.
Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. We had a great time.
Being LO residents, we have been going to Nicolleta’s since it opened. The food started out outstanding and we really enjoyed the memorable desserts. We would rate the current quality ‘fair to good’. The chicken Parmesan and seafood pasta are the most consistent dishes. The Octopus appetizer or the tuna salad is no longer worth ordering. The other night our dinner salad was non-descript, the dessert ho-hum. We like to support local, but with so many restaurants in Portland, Nicoletta’s need to step up their game once more!
Enjoyed the pasta carbonara and pasta with clams. Also good wine and service.
Great food and ambience. These people go into a great deal of effort in preparation as you will tell from their presentations and servings. This is a true piece of Italy where one finds fresh made on site pasta. The layout is a bit confusing more than likely from add-ons though the remodel was very well done. The servers are friendly but seem at times gone for a longer period that custom. More than likely due to two separate dining areas. Be patient. The food will take awhile to be served. Worth the wait.
I am gluten free Nicoletta’s does not disappoint. I usually get the GF pasta, best around! My husband has ordered a variety of items and likes the choices. The wine list is very good. Service is excellent. We have been here several times, it is our first choice when going to Lakewood Theatre.
