Nicoletta's Table and Marketplace
We ate there specifically for the wild boar dish and it was absolutely wonderful! Can't wait to go back.
The food is average in terms of quality, and not particularly imaginative.
We enjoyed a Valentine Day fixed menu that included shrimp broth, duck and lamb for myself; spinach salad risotto and ravioli for my wife. The charcuterie was delightful, the desserts spectacular. A bottle of 2013 Amarone was the perfect compliment. Service was excellent, despite a full house and the Elian language singers were great background, but did not disturb conversation. Nicoletta's is a favorite of ours for lunch and dinner and will now be our permanent Valentine's Day day dining stop. Don't let the location in a strip mall fool you. This is a large, first class operation with exceptional product.
Have eaten here many times for Italian dinners, and it is one of the better restaurants for this meal. However, their "Valentines" dinner was an absolute disaster. Dungenous Crab salad had a few slivers of crab (magnifying glass would of assisted in finding the crab); the Trout Dinner consisted of fingerling potatoes which were rock solid on the outside and mush in the inside which matched the trout (skin was bark it was so overcooked) with no flavor for either. Our waitress took our order and that was the last we saw of her. Had to ask another waitress to bring our bill. The manager made sure the wall he leaned against stayed in place (made comments to only those few he knew- not sure what happened to the other manager, definitely a step backwards). The only positive was the superb bus help who were attentive and professional, and probably underpaid. Eat here again, think not!
Wonderful food, great servers, nice ambiance, good prices. The outdoor patio in summer is deligtful.
55 dollars for a very small salad with zero crab and no flavor, a small bowl of flavorless pasta and a bland very small dessert! Horrible. No regular menu on Valentines Day and tried to sell me 6 roses for 40 dollars! Very disappointed!!
We had an amazing server, Jessie. She was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the Valentines menu.
We were seated near a younger couple who server showed up at the table upon arrival, spoke like a valley girl and told them that she had heard the Alfredo was very plain.
While our server stopped by 5-6 times throughout the meal, the young couples server only returned to deliver the check, chuckled when she saw the young woman had the two desserts in front of her and then left.
While our experience with our server was great, we were impacted by the poor attitude and tone of the other server since the tables were so close together for the evening.
The food was good, not great. The ravioli was very rich and the leg of lamb was very tough to cut through.
They had a duet playing and singing and while they had nice voices the music was too loud for the venue and made talking at a normal level challenging.
I like Nicolettes regular menu and doubt we will return for a special occasion.
We enjoy having dinner here after Sunday theatre matinee. The food is well prepared and is delivered hot to the table. I am gluten free and find the pasta here the best!! Nicolle was our waitress and knew the menu well. The wait staff work as a team, everyone one working quickly and quietly to make sure we have everything we need. I was impressed. Our dinners pasta carbonara and spaghetti and meatballs were great. The verde salad and soup was also good. A nice bottle of wine complemented the meal. Thanks to all.
Nicoletta's is my kind of place. Fabulous food, great service, nice bartender. Everything was very pleasant .
I've tried. There seems to be no consistency with the quality of food or the level of service at this restaurant. They seem horribly understaffed during lunch, and it affects their food quality and ability to get their food out hot. When this is brought to the attention of the manager, they do attempt to make it right by comping a dish or giving a free coffee. But, with all the restaurants in town, is complaining over my meal what I should have to do.... no.
Had a wonderful 80th birthday dinner celebration for my mother. Our server was relatively new to Nicolette’s but he did a great job and make sure we had a great time and some wonderful food.
Fabulous food. Lovely servers but a bit understaffed for volume.
Our first visit and it certainly won’t be our last!
First, it was very noisy and crowded. We asked the waitress if there were any specials, she said she needed to check. After a long wait she returned and asked if she could take our order, we asked again about specials. One in our party ordered the special, the waitress returned after taking all the orders and said the special was sold out. We ordered salads and entrees. One of the salads had a piece of metal and imitation stone in it. We brought it to the waitress attention. She apologized and took the salad. The salad was never replaced and we were told that we would not be charged for the salad. One of the entrees was a salad with salmon and the salmon was over-cooked. We were given a $30 gift card along with the bill to compensate for all that occurred.
Had a great time for my birthday lunch with a friend...BUT
Ordered Spinach and added salmon BUT got chicken and had to wait for salmon re=do and it was not as
great as first time I had salmon there....smaller piece and cooked quick to make up for error.
BUT the cannolli's were fantasticas they were the time before & service great!
Waitress was great & took salmon order....... so must have been an error in kitchen!
By the time I got mine my friend was almost finished with her lunch. OOOPS!
Food and service were wonderful.
Waiter was great at the beginning but felt forgotten at the end. Food was delicious. Great homemade pasta. Wine list had great choices.
We had family celebration of our 64th wedding anniversary, and food and service just wonderful. Just prior, we had a close college friend, now retired, living most of year in Paris, and he and his wife thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Mark, our server, was superb. He made our dining experience as he was very knowledgeable and Aldo attuned to our wishes.
We made a reservation for 7 o’clock on a Sunday night. The service was very brusque. It was clear that they were trying to hurry people through their meals so that they could all go home. If you don’t want people to come in on Sunday nights, do not advertise that your restaurant is open. We will definitely not return.
We reserved a table months ago, we arrived and were seated in the hallway to kitchen and toilet. There was a large party that pushed everyone else into a very cramped area. There was no room to move. We were moved after I asked to be and were given a large discount. But it still WAS NOT a nice dinner experience. I’ll think twice or three times before returning.
Was very noisy as there was a birthday party they were hosting and should have been able to be in separate area and looked to be over legal persons limit? I am a safety officer just saying.
the staff was great at arrival and our server but as we had an reservation it seemed our table was not ready or they had to make an accommodation? so we had to wait?
Again our server was great and the food was awesome but we did not stay for desert as it was noisy and my dinning companion suffers from a noise related hearing issue and it became unbearable for her so we went elsewhere for coffee and desert also the table was right by the server path and I was bumped several times .
We will come back as the food and staff were great and want to try again.
The staff should have know due to the situation with the party a comp should have been given to other customers!!
Thank you and see you again.
This was my second time visiting this delightful restaurant. Both times the food and service has been excellent. This last time I ordered the risotto which was beyond delicious. Also, save room for dessert. You'll be glad you did!
My boyfriend and I went there for our anniversary. I had been there previously with a group of girlfriends and had an amazing experience. This time everything was top notch except the timing. We were seated on time service was great ordered meatball appetizer and 2 cocktails but before we had even finished our appetizers or cocktails our entrees were delivered, so I felt very rushed. I finished my cocktail quickly so I could order a glass of wine to enjoy with my dinner. By the time we were seated and finished I am not sure if we had been there for an hour. Not the leasurly experience we hoped for.
Excellent food! Thank you. Comfortable seating. Conducive to relaxed conversation.
Lovely venue with delicious comfort food.
Service was friendly & helpful.
Service was great
Over priced and noisy. Spinach salad good flavor, but would appreciate stems removed before serving, would make it easier to eat. Lentil and pork soup didn't have much flavor, some herbs would improve it.
Four (out of four) wonderful meals, and our guests enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
Amazing as always!!
Mimi is fantastic and was a delightful addition to our meal.
Went with friends for a birthday lunch. Food was great (try the butternut squash soup!) and our waitress was just the right amount of attentive. We were a noisy group and were seated in the entrance side of the restaurant which worked well.
Superior New Years dinner. Great service. Fun atmosphere.
I took my friend and her daughter to this restaurant last year for her birthday and she loved her meal and the experience, so this year she choose this restaurant again.
The daughter is six so we asked about a child’s size plate and were informed no. We ordered the spaghetti (full size) which was too spicy for the child. Actually, it was too highly tomatoe for me and I usually love spaghetti. The child was disappointed as she usually loves spaghetti also. So the child didn’t eat, I ordered ice cream for all to make up for it. Ice cream was served with a almond cookie although I had said nut allergy. My friends meal was delicious. Altogether an expensive disappointing experience! Next years birthday will be somewhere else. And yes, the six year old is used to going out to restaurants and enjoys the experience.
Always a great meal here. Love their chicken parmesan.
Enjoyed the service & food. Only complaint is they seated us at a long table by the bar. Been ok if farther away, group of four at bar was right at my back. To tight to be comfortable. Asked about another table(s) that we’re open. Said they were reserved. We also had a reservation??
I've been here several times for dinner or happy hour, but lunch during the holiday season was a loud mob scene. The kitchen was slow; the ravioli of the day arrived barely warm enough to eat. I had ordered a cup of soup first, which arrived with the ravioli, so I sent it back...something I never do, but the soup or the ravs would have been cold. Another in the party ordered the tomato tort lunch and the portion of tort was tiny, and totally overwhelmed by the pile of salad. The third in our party ordered a panini + soup, and the presentation thrown together. On the upside, both the French 75 and the Moscow Mule we ordered were great. Desserts were good, although the creme brulee was a bit watery. And it was very, very loud. None of these problems were ever experienced here before. I'll avoid busy times in the future.
Delicious fresh pasta. We loved it and will return.
We met friends at Nicoletta’s for dinner, the food was outstanding as usual. I would recommend this restaurant for a date or a large group. You can’t go wrong with the food. Very authentic.
Second visit here. Saw Terry Stotts, head coach of Trail Blazers. The food was pretty good - the steak was a little bland but cooked correctly. The scallops were outstanding. Service was consistent and steady. I'll be back.
