Wonderful experience. Fried chicken was savory along with the gravy. Wood fired grilled trout was cooked perfectly. Amazing special lemon curd tart with seasonal berries rounded out a very satisfying evening. Service was attentive. Will be back!
Enjoyed our 33rd wedding anniversary with a great meal and felt safe with every other table being left empty. Staff was exceptional!
This is a wonderful restaurant that features quality food, a wide selection of entrees and superb service. Oswego Grill is one of our favorites.
Drinks were watered down. Food was subpar and the service was a 1/10. Been going here for 3 years and this is the last time we will be going here.
Nice to be back to being an adult. Great food. Pleasant service.
The staff was friendly and attentive, opening the door as we entered. They sufficiently followed social distancing and a clean environment. My only complaint was my king salmon. That is such a wonderful fish that it is a shame it was overcooked, dry and charred. It did not taste fresh. My friend, however, enjoyed her Ahi tuna bowl. I’d go again and try something else.
This place is seriously the best place I’ve ever visited. Such a great server and everyone was so friendly. My significant other got a birthday card with everyone’s name written it in delivered by the manager. Such an amazing place!!
What a great meal! Service was excellent. Staff was helpful. Fish was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Picked my brother up at PDX and needed a restaurant on the way back to Salem and this is close to I-5 and on the way. The place is nice, not too fancy but good lighting and comfortable table/chairs and waitress was friendly. I had the steelhead and it was delicious. My brother had the snapper and he enjoyed it too. It was exactly what i was looking for- not to expensive but still nicer than the average chain restaurant. Would go back
Amazing service, perfect drinks, top notch service
So nice to see Oswego Grill back in service.! Everything went well.
We will be back soon.
The staff were enthusiastically warm and welcoming. Attentive to every part of our meal/ experience.
Our 65 wedding anniversary 💕
Thank you for a great experience after reopening due to covid-19. The staff was conscientious and made us feel safe. I loved the option of using my phone menu, the distance between tables, etc. Very friendly staff as usual. Thanks to all!
Great food and consistent good service. Try their desserts as they are terrific.
50-characters as a minimum? I would downsize that number.
The Grill always delivers, indoors and out.
Re: beer choices- too any IPA's, no amber or porter- mistake, as not all drinkers are in love with IPA.
A bit to long of a wait for already having reservations. Also hard to social distance with so many people waiting for a table.
This was our first restaurant dinner since quarantine began. We felt comfortable at Oswego Grill except for two things. One, our table was not ready when we got there for our reservation and we were not directed in any way as to where to wait to maintain social distance. We ended up going to the bar area where a table was open so we decided to eat there. Secondly, we ordered a bottle of wine and when our server brought it to us she proceeded to pour it into our glasses which made us uncomfortable since she was not wearing gloves. She tried to refill our glasses at one point but we said no and then moved the bottle so we could refill our own glasses. It's a small thing but, in this new normal, these are the kind of things that make us feel safer to dine out. We know it is a learning curve for everyone and next time we will be more vocal in a nice way so they can be aware of these concerns.
Hostess at front door abrupt
One of the bar servers was pushy in telling us where to stand
My NY strip was very tough. Maybe underaged?
The most disappointing issue was that we were told to download an app to look at a menu. I get that for fast casual but really? When you spend $142 for two guests and you have to do work in order to relax. Was also told by the host seating is that you did not have menus. Asked our server who brought us one.
Salt and pepper calamari was melt in your mouth tender and absolutely delicious! My Ribeye was perfectly prepared, tender, and incredibly flavorful! My lady had the Parmesan crusted snapper and she said it was fantastic!!! We will return regularly to sample different menu items, there are plenty to choose from.
Out attendant, RJ, was excellent!! He was very patient, pleasant and understanding. He knew the menu and gave us his recommendations....he was very attentive but still gave us our space. We just wanted a nice dine-in dinner for our 21st anniversary, coming from Vancouver, and we had a very nice experience.....We will definitely be back!!! (We will probably have dessert first next time; and just don't serve the steak on top of the potatoes...lol.)
It was nice to be able to sit down and relax at one of my favorite places again. Our server was fantastic and the food was great.
It was for my sons birthday. It was very nice.
We both ordered a dinner salad with our meals and what we got were really nice sized delicious salads with our choice of balsamic dressing. We were impressed! My husband got the stuffed salmon which he said was excellent, and I got the fish and chips which were good, but a tad greasy. I think anything deep fried is probably hard to avoid the greasy results, but the flavor was excellent! Our servers were great and were wearing masks and keeping as far as they were able when serving. All were friendly and kind. It was SOOOO nice to be able to get out and eat at a favorite restaurant again after several months of not being able to do so! I was concerned about eating inside the restaurant due to my husband's health diagnosis, and we were able to be seated on the patio well away from others, and it worked out beautifully. We'll go back and perhaps I'll have the salmon next time!!
We hadn't realized that we were there for their first night after the closing. They had done a great job modifying to meet guidelines; the menu is pared down but with nice options; service attentive without being cloying; the food was great. Vibe was quiet, which we like.
So thankful they're open - great/safe practices, same excellent food (albeit a limited menu as they grapple with all the requirements for food services from the state)
We got the happy hour, and the drinks are incredible! The food is pretty good
Delicious food, very tasty and well cooked. The portions were so big we could not order dessert.
Our outstanding service was made possible by Brian. His outgoing personality made for a delightful evening. Three of the four of us had steaks which were cooked to perfection. We will definitely keep returning.
A very pleasant experience and will go back often.
Good service, nice wine selection and great food, as always
Was looking forward to Oswego Grill because it was recommended. Calm and dark interior. The drinks were weak. The grilled chicken on my Caesar salad was room temperature and overcooked/precooked. Lentil soup with sausage was excellent. I would recommend for the ambience only.
Excellent predictable food and good service.
Very attentive service. The sushi appetizer was amazing. I am looking forward to returning and trying some other dishes on the menu.
Nice restaurant, very good food and great service. My only comment is that there is a lot of seating and it feels a bit overcrowding on a busy night.
We went on a Saturday night so it was a bit louder, good atmosphere and great staff. Waiter was wonderful, I wasn’t too pleased with my Cesar salad only because I didn’t care for the dressing. But overall we would definitely go back.
Bar was great, but dinner was disappointing primarily because of lackluster, inattentive service.
Pleasant ambience, superb wait staff, attentive and effective manager Fernando. Our dinner selections for each of the four of us very tasty and well presented.
This was a repeat visit for us and there will be many more.
Great food. The server was very attentive periodically asking if anything else was needed. Filling our iced tea glasses. I was celebrating my birthday. They brought an ice cream treat. I am lactose intolerant so my friends ate the ice cream and they offered me a great strawberry sorbet. Also the server brought a birthday card to the table signed by the staff. Such a thoughtful gesture.
My food was cold and overcooked (shrimp). I did not have time to return it and have it redone.
