Lovely place to have lunch. Our waitress, Louise was so helpful and attentive which made our experience very enjoyable. Food was good, there was a nice range of food available and we didn't have to wait long and were not rushed at all. Would definitely go back again.

A glorious evening of delicious modern Sri Lankan food created and presented by guest chef Dom Fernando and his team from Paradise Soho in the beautiful setting of Updown set in rural Kent near Deal.

We had a very enjoyable time although it was to say goodbye to our son returning to New Zealand after coming to celebrate my 80th birthday. They even provided my husbands requested dish from a previous visit. The food is delicious and the staff go out if their way to help you. It’s taken a long time to find but so worth the effort. Thank you.

We had a lovely meal and cocktails there last weekend. The staff were great and really made it a memorable evening.
