We have a lovely Father's Day brunch at Fire. The service was attentive and our custom omelets were perfection. Creative cocktails and plentiful coffee. A memorable meal in a beautiful, art-filled hotel.

Arrived and seated quickly inside and the space was particularly hot in good weather. We waited for almost 50 mins before getting the food that was mostly overdone and barely warm - it was basic omelette and brunch food, in a restaurant serving a handful of tables, so hard to understand how this was so poor.

We ordered drinks before our food. My beer came but her wine never came. My beer ran dry and I was never approached and asked if I wanted another beer. The server at the table next to us was explaining everything to her customers and was very attentive but ours did not explain anything. She did not come to refill our waters one time. When I finally ordered another beer (from a random waiter that walked by), it took our server close to 30 minutes to bring it out, and that was only after we asked about it. She still never mentioned or brought out the wine. We overheard the other server explaining some dessert items. We asked for a dessert menu (again to another server bc ours wasn’t around). He must’ve told our server because she brought us dessert menus and walked off. We realized the dessert items we heard were off-menu items…. So now we weren’t really sure what all was available and what wasn’t. Regardless, the server did not come back for nearly 20 minutes. We just asked for our check and got dessert elsewhere. The food was good but the experience was absolutely terrible.

We had a great time at the bar first. Now at our table with a great view of the Colorado Rockies and downtown Denver to start off is always a nice start of a date night. The appetizers were wonderful and to die for our server was a delight. She knew a lot about the menu and elaborated about the great preparation. Our food was just fantastic and our dessert was the best ever. Then we had a nice after dinner drink, which was wonderful to end our great evening at this wonderful restaurant.

We went for the Mother’s Day brunch and were very disappointed. The filet was tough, The dough on the salmon en croute was undercooked, and most of the vegetables were cold. Also, there was no "ice cream bar" as advertised and the service wasn't great. We arrived for a 1:30 reservation and the entertainment stopped playing after only 30 minutes. This brunch cost was $80/person. I've gone to many other brunch buffets in downtown Denver that were much better for less money than that. VERY disappointing.

The service was so bad it was almost comical. Well, it would have been funny if our table for 8 didn’t come with a 25% service charge for the complete lack of service. A few of the dishes were decent, a few were pretty bad. We were also the only table in the whole restaurant, there were some tables seated on the patio but otherwise the place was empty. I suppose they get away with the terrible service because the hotel is there. Unfortunately There aren’t a lot of restaurants near the museum district.
