Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Myers Park

Food was excellent, Service was outstanding. Drinks were also great. We went on our anniversary and they gave us a free desert. Lived everything about the restaurant.

Solid Spot for Southern-Inspired Bites The Eagle in South End offers a cozy Southern comfort vibe with a modern twist. Parking was a breeze thanks to the nearby garage, which is always a plus in that area. We arrived a little late for our reservation, but there were plenty of open tables and we were seated quickly with no issue. I ordered the Fried Chicken BLT with a bourbon punch and a side of fries with aioli. The food was good and portions were decent, though I’d say the sides feel a bit overpriced for what you get. The fries were tasty, but the aioli was the star. The ambiance was warm with a buzzy bar feel—somewhat loud, but that’s to be expected. One small quirk: the lighting fixtures block the view of the TVs from the wall booths, which might matter if you're hoping to catch a game. Service was friendly, but our waiter may have been a little too attentive—he lingered by our table to the point where it interrupted the flow of our conversation. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note. All in all, a good spot for a casual night out with solid food and a lively vibe.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made sure everything was just right. The food was delicious, the service was on point, and the vibe was perfect for the occasion. It was the kind of experience that makes memories—good laughs, great company, and a space that felt both relaxed and special. Walked right in on time for our reservation. Sat us immediately. Waitress came to our table within a minute to take drink orders etc. Meal served quickly and correctly. Food was delicious.

Comfortable and warm pub atmosphere. Fish & chips are the best in CLT and their Guinness pour is perfect.
