Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Scripps Ranch

Great Mother’s Day brunch! Love the ambiance of the restaurant and great food!

Food was delicious with many options. The fish selection was great, and super fresh! Desserts were also beautifully made and there were many appealing choices. Every one that we tasted ( almost all of them!) was perfect! Patio setting was delightful and the umbrella kept the sun off. Unfortunately our service was not attentive. Server did not wear a name tag and never introduced himself to us. He wasn’t around too much during our meal and did not offer refills of coffee or water. We noted that there was a 22% service change added to our bill, which provided a good tip for him ( we were told 18% goes to the server), so maybe he didn’t feel as if he needed to make an effort(?). Sad because we love the Park Hyatt and our experience is so much better when service shines as much as food does!

The tea was lovely and the ambience in the lobby is nice. They had a huge issue at the valet with lost cars and lonnng waits but that should not deter you from this top notch tea!

First time dining at this place. Nice, quiet and quaint place in Lemon Grove! Inside has limited seating but the patio is perfect for spring and summer for wine and charcuterie nights. Food was amazing! We had the steak, lamb chops and chicken Parmesan. For wine try Quest Cabernet. We were served by the owner himself and very knowledgeable when it comes to wine! We will be back!
