Best Historic Restaurants in Southeast Portland

I really appreciate the quality ingredients, the really tasty recipes, the friendly service, clean and comfortable environment and the consistency with which you get all that every time we go to Lucca. A cornerstone of the area that everyone hopes will always be there.

The food was a little slow getting from kitchen to table. Plates were left on table too long after finishing and long wait before being offered water refills, by anyone. Meals overall were very tasty. Only one meal was returned as it was presented "Black and Blue" when it was ordered "Blue", The restaurant did make a correction. Oysters Rockefeller or seafood Rockefeller for the night was tasty. The bacon provided crunch but everything else was monotone. Drinks, exceptional, even the non-alcoholic offerings. We were not offered bread until we sent back the steak. Gave restaurant another try after last visit. Sent steak back 2 times during that visit, so there was definitely improvement.

Yet another incredible meal at this wonderful restaurant. Celebrating Father’s Day was certainly a hit with the incredible view and Adam as our server. We found a valet to be exceptionally friendly and kind. From start to finish this place set a high standard.

Great service, delicious cocktails & food (roasted chicken; Steak Frites, potato medley, parm fries; creme brulee'). Noise level started out as "quiet and came to a moderate level by the time we left to get to our show. Very pleasant atmosphere, although we probably would have preferred to not hear some of the conversation coming from the cooks in the kitchen, given what was being said. Might be important to remind the cooks that guests in the dining room can hear them. . .
