Best Historic Restaurants in Altamonte Springs

I am a big fan of Kres for dinner with friends because the menu provides delicious meals for all types of people from steak lovers to vegans, but somehow I had not been there for lunch in about a year. The lunch menu was varied from salads to soups to standout sandwiches. We had a carpaccio appetizer to share that was delicious and the four of us ordered a salmon salad, a turkey club, a French dip, and a Kres burger respectively. All meals were generous in size but the burger was probably the best I’ve had in ages and the turkey club was perfect. The French dip though was amazing as it’s a filet mignon like you can get at dinner just casually there on a crispy bun. Kres somehow gets all the details right for dinner and lunch is no different. We will definitely be back !

I loved this new restaurant in wp. Food was amazing, beautifully decorated and lovely ambience. Great staff and service too. I tried a few items and can’t wait to come again. Started with the ahi tuna- perfect portion very nice quality tuna, the Floridian salad -I absolutely loved the flavors bursting and the citrusy zest dressing, mushroom pappardelle pasta in a creamy goat cheese sauce exquisite in flavor too if you love mushrooms, the salmon with a pearled couscous type pasta with some curry notes and the chocolate ganache cake with berries. I’m definitely coming back soon. Well done 😍

Great experience as always. The food is fantastic. Highly recommend the frog legs the octopus and the burger.... Can't go wrong with any of these choices. Oh and try and get a table by the windows for a lovely sunset view

Very cute place with friendly vibe. The food and service were excellent! The gumbo and lobster bisque were superb! Amanda was our server, perfect! We would definitely recommend. Just down the street from the Kia Center. Great pre show find.
