We went to the Pine & Oak Tavern for Mother's Day. The food and service were great. The ambiance could be a little better but overall it was nice. They turned their two banquet rooms into a restaurant and have big window to see out making it bright and airy. The view of the course and grounds was nice - tranquil. So the tables were rounds of 8 vs. individual restaurant style seating/tables. That was the only awkward moment because we had a party of 4 so half the table was empty. The parking is convenient and easy. The staff opening the door to the restaurant, to greeting you at the check-in and then the servers and wait staff tending the stations were awesome. Everyone is friendly, nice and the quality of the food was great! We had the buffet which included a mimosa. The carved meat station was awesome. The dessert could have been a little better - the chocolate covered strawberries were as good as Shari's Berries - but the lemon bar cake could have been better. Also, the soda was not part of the buffet so we had to pay additional which was not great considering our bill for 4 people (3 adults and 1 child) was almost $300. But otherwise the experience was great!

The experience was incredible. It was our group’s first time there and we were so happy to have chosen this restaurant for our celebratory dinner. Our server “Dee” was on point with service and recommendations. She made this occasion special and made us feel like we were the only ones there. Cocktails, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all delicious and wonderfully presented. We were truly satisfied with it all. We will all be back again!
