Best Romantic Restaurants in Upcountry

The restaurants location is amazing, food expensive but prepared perfectly. The fresh catch was over a chick pea stew. I was hesitant to order it but it was delicious.

Ka'ana Kitchen is amazing! We ordered the Watermelon Salad and Grilled Octopus Salad for starters Both were so fresh and clean tasting. Entrees we got were the Chicken and Mochi Waffle (which was phenomenal!), Risotto with Snow Crab, and Grilled Fresh Catch. All were delightful and rightfully portioned. Our server David was so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant! Don't skip on desserts! We got the Popcorn Cheesecake and it was so good! We will definitely be back if give a chance to come back.

This was a truly memorable dining experience. Rick one of the owners welcomes you warmly as if you were attending a family meal. The food is exceptional - On par with what we have had in Marrakesh and Casablanca. The Chicken Bastilla was outstanding and the couscous chicken and lamb delectable. It is a price fixe menu but worth every cent. There is belly dancing on most nights and everyone is able to participate. The vibe is just special - there are Moroccan dresses and Fez Caps for guests that adds to the atmosphere. Even the Moroccan tea at the end is delicious. Every morsel and every minute is special.

The food, service, and views cannot be bested by other comparable restaurants on Maui. Although the dinners are pricey, we knew that going in, and are very satisfied. The server discovered it was for a 60th birthday and offered complimentary drink and dessert. Can’t wait to go again next year!

Extremely unique and worth it. This place is up on the mountain, and the architecture alone is a sight to see. The service is on point, and the food is 5 stars. I highly recommend seeing the restaurant and gardens to have a less commercialized experience.
