Best Romantic Restaurants in Lahaina

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Longhi’s. The Greek salad was amazing, great feta, super fresh veggies, and the best salad dressing. I meant to ask for the recipe, because it was so good. My husband enjoyed the Fish Island Style and I had the Longhi’s Fish which was light and perfect. We are here in December and arrived for an early meal just after sunset, so no beating sun that may be encountered before sunset. There was live music and the server was a delight. She’s lived on the Island 4 decades. All in all, it was a lovely evening and I hope to return before leaving Maui.

Our party of 4 enjoyed a perfect early evening at Honu Oceanside Saturday night. Reservations were at 5:30 in anticipation of sunset, and we were seated at a perfect oceanfront table. Drinks came promptly, and we started with the Burrata Mozzarella (perfectly creamy and delicious). Shared Caesar Salads with Green Goddess dressing were great, followed by the main events: Monchong with Risotto in a Poblano Cream Sauce (the special) were immediately happily devoured by 2 in our group, while the Cioppino and Mahi-Mahi were huge hits as well. Accompanying the Espresso Martini’s was an amazing Pot de Crème will lots of caramel (no calories there!) to round out a perfect dining experience. Although Honu was crowded, we never felt rushed and received terrific service. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our 2nd time at Coral Reef. The restaurant has great outdoor ambiance with torches located at the Sheraton Maui. Enjoyed the toast appetizer and short ribs for dinner. Very attentive service. Restaurant Manager stops by every table to check in. Diverse menu, intimate setting- much better than the crowed Whalers village restaurants. Daytime viewing doesn’t give it justice - ambiance comes out with the stars.

The food, service and ambience was wonderful! I Would definitely 100 recommend!! The shrimp tacos, edamame and rib eye steak dinner was delicious.

We had an awesome experience dining here. Mike, (11 year veteran of the restaurant), took excellent care of us. The special, steak with asparagus, potatoes and coconut shrimp, was delicious, prepared and presented perfectly. What a value. The bar team members were also attentive. The evening atmosphere is memorable and we can’t wait to return! Recommend!
