I’ve been wanting to try Gaslamp for so long, and my goodness did they blow us away. We had a great time celebrating our 3rd anniversary here. Clark and the rest of the staff were outstanding. Situated behind the pub, your password will get you into a quaint, cozy speakeasy. The drinks satiate the eyes as well as the palate, and are skillfully crafted within the view of the table. The Truffle Risotto was elegant and light. The Beef Wellington was cooked perfectly to medium rare, and went great with the mash potatoes, roasted vegetables and red wine demi glace. The Veal Chop Special with polenta, brussels sprouts, and bordelaise sauce was delicious as well. The timing of our courses was spot on such that we were able to enjoy a few cocktails in between our entreés. We were lucky to have also been treated to live music which came from the upper balcony. This is the perfect spot for a date night or a small gathering. The only thing I regret was not coming here sooner.
