- MMartyDenver / Colorado •214 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoBest Happy Hour in Denver! We're Happy Hour "regulars" for many reasons. We love the welcoming ambiance the minute we come in the door! The Happy Hour cocktails and wine served by Dennis and team are the best! My Super Tuscan is especially tasty. The authentic Italian small plates menu has everything from salads and charcuterie to pastas, chicken, and veal dishes. The portions are more than ample! We chose the Rigatoni Con Salsiccia e Porcini -- a family favorite. We love the spicy Italian sausage and sauce. We also chose the Tortellini di Zucca (delicious pasta filled with roasted butternut squash, walnuts and parmesan cheese in a marinara vellutata sauce). One of my favorites is the Pollo Piccata (a generous and tender portion of chicken with capers and roasted garlic in a lemon chardonnay wine sauce)! The accompanying fresh vegetables were so flavorful. Come in for Happy Hour and You'll come back for dinner! The bar is fun and lively. The dining room is upscale and comfortable! - SSethVIPDenver / Colorado •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHave been to Bruto a number of times, but last night's meal was a step up. (A star up?) Which in some ways is hard to believe, because earlier visits were very impressive. What made last night different? A strong sense of progression through the meal, with courses building to an astounding main course of Bison tenderloin of unreal flavor and nuance. But there was brilliant complexity in every individual course. Non-alcoholic beverage pairings were exceptionally inspiring, the drink and course it accompanied responding to each other. I have never had a meal with a wider range of flavors, textures, and temperatures, including many novel sensations. Frankly, it was a revelation, fine dining as high art. The environment was also somehow calmer, perhaps because it was a weeknight, although the "performance" of the open kitchen remained fascinating.More infoBRUTØPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / LoDo•4.9
