Everything about our experience at Tavernetta was exceptional—the food, the wine (including the help from Luis the sommelier), the ambience and the service. Best dining experience I have had in Denver .

The second time here and again the food was top notch. The tortellini was the stand out this evening. The menu is not large so you may want to view it on line before going. The ambience is lovely in the main dining room and the smaller wine room dining may be too tight for some but if you love sitting surrounded by fabulous bottles of wine its great. The stand out is the impressive wine list and the marvelous sommelier, Erin Lindstone. Erin is an exceptional talent. We each had very different main courses and Erin found the perfect wine that partnered well with both dishes. Not easy to do, as we though we would need to do wines by the glass, one white the other red. In addition to finding a perfect wine for this dinner, Erin also always looks to what wine works best for the meal first and foremost, and is not intent in pushing only the most expensive wines available. There is always a price range to choose from or if you suggest an upper price limit, she will adhere to it. Lastly her knowledge of Italian wine and wine overall is exceptional and she is so much fun to discuss all things wine related. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this second visit to Barolo Grill.

Amazing food experience. We did the chefs experience with drink pairings. The 11 courses were full of flavor and texture and beyond filling. The chefs would describe each course and if sustainability is important to you this is a meal you should not miss.

This was our second time dining at Matsuhisa Denver. We have, in the past, also dined at Nobu in NYC and San Diego, so we know and appreciate Chef Nobu’s reputation. The service and food was outstanding. They have such an extensive menu and we prefer to not eat rice, so we asked the server to create an omikase menu that met our preferences. She did a wonderful job with the selections that included a wide variety of seafood and textures and made solid recommendations for sake. It was all excellent…pricey, but worth it because the quality of the presentations were definitely a cut above.
