Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Holladay / Midvale / Sandy / Union

Everything tasted fantastic and the service from Nikka was exceptional. Maybe a new favorite place in Salt Lake City

I usually don’t write reviews, but VENETO truly deserves recognition. After passing by many times, I decided to give it a try last night, and we were absolutely wowed! If food and service are important to you, this is the place to go. The servers were exceptionally professional—accommodating, attentive, and polite. We felt like we were waited on hand and foot. Every dish was outstanding, and as a picky eater, I can confidently say that I’ve never had eggplant parmigiana as good as this. I recently dined at some of the finest and trendiest restaurants in LA, yet this experience was far superior. Restaurant owners should dine here to learn how it’s done! It’s a true gem in Salt Lake, and I’ll definitely be going back soon. By the way, we invited a couple of friends who are world travelers and foodies, and they were equally impressed. VENETO should be recognized as Utah’s first Michelin-starred restaurant!

We love Franck’s! They always do such a good job. We started with the tomato danish, which was very unique and tasty. Cocktails were such a fun fall spin on old classics. I had the lamb shank, which was fall off the bone perfect and the complexity of the rest of the dish makes exploring and mixing and matching elements a journey of discovery. My partner had the mushroom pasta. With 5 different types of mushrooms, the textures and flavors were also a delight to the mouth. Malbec and Zin were good pairings for our mains.

Make sure you get a reservation. The food was awesome however they did run out of what I ordered so had to pick something else but no a big deal. The place is a little loud but the great food made up for that. We will be back.
