'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. A true gem of a restaurant on the busy Hammersmith roundabout.. What more could a fish lover want but fresh fish cooked to perfection. The mussel in xo were devine. The pollock, jersey royals with boullabase was simply delicious. Cod cheek skewers with tartar sauce were perfectly cooked. The haddock fish and chips had the most incredible crispy batter, and the haddock just melted in the mouth. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal
