Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Washington Park

The food at Jovanina’s was fantastic!! But between waiting 20 minutes for cocktails, hardly being able to see in the dark room, and the noisy atmosphere of loud music and everyone trying to talk over the music, I wouldn’t say the whole experience was worth the hefty price tag. Our waitress was nice but seemed a little lost and forgetful, and recommended added granita to the oysters but neglected to mention it cost extra - she just made it sound like it was a fun addition the kitchen was trying out.

One of Denver's great gems, the Plimoth always delivers outstanding food in a welcoming neighborhood environment. Their consistency is astounding.

We had an outstanding experience at Satchels on 6th! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is intimate and charming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. Every dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious — you can tell there’s real care and creativity behind the menu. The attention to detail, both in the food and the overall dining experience, truly sets Satchels apart. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal in Denver. We’ll definitely be back!

It was during March Madness on the big screen in front of us but the service was quick and server took the time to describe certain items on the menu that we thought we would order. We had the East Coast Caesar Salad, the truffle burger with homemade chips and steamed mixed vegetables. There were two of us and we split these 3 items between the two of us and it was plenty…no room for dessert! For the cocktails, we had the Nola Colada…too sweet IMO.
