Best Restaurants for Local Ingredients in Dana Point / Monarch Beach

It's always a great pleasure visiting Splashes, and now the hotel is renovated, it's even more stunning. The menu continues to be amazing with high quality dishes. The Spanish octopus and peach/ burrata salad were phenomenal. We also had the bacon/fig flatbread, which was really good as well. I had a cocktail, the Blue Reef, which blew my mind. We sat in the bar area, which has the best views. The staff there is absolutely fantastic.

J was an awesome server….she had great recommendations, took time to ask our opinion about food and drinks, chatted with us a bit about why we were there and what we were celebrating and even sent out a very special surprise for our boys…she was AWESOME! The food was creative, tasty, and very enjoyable. You MUST try the wings appetizer…a family fav! And the mushroom pizza (add sausage) was a hit! The Whipper Snapper was a delicious bourbon cocktail….would definitely order again. There is so many fun options on in the menu….we will definitely be going back to try more.

Location is awesome right on the ocean. Choice of seating indoors or outdoors. Cocktails were good; red wine and entree were average and therefore felt were not a good value based on price paid.

Craft house is the best! They are dog friendly, have the nicest servers and the food is incredible.

Always a wonderful experience. No way can you beat the view, the food is solid and everyone is always fabulous. This hotel is such a gem and Aveo is such a great spot.
