Best Restaurants with a Fireplace in Washington Park

We ate here for our anniversary. We had the focaccia, burrata, carpaccio, lamb ragu, and cavatelli. Everything was excellent! Finished up with the budino and olive oil cake. Absolutely delicious! The food was truly amazing, but it was the service that really stood out. The sommelier was so kind and helpful in picking out the perfect bottle of wine and the wait staff was very attentive personable. A great experience that I would highly recommend!

It was amazing!! Our waiter was very informative on all the dishes!! When a dish was cooked alittle too well done they fixed it right away and had excellent service! The food is amazing!! It’s owned by a fish distribution company in California so it’s all so fresh! Dessert was amazing too!!

We were introduced to Ship’s Tavern on a downtown Denver history walking tour. We returned for lunch to meet a family member and found out it was my aunt and uncle’s favorite place for many years. Love the atmosphere and the nautical decor. The soup and salad were wonderful.

Great service, very good food. Large portions of food if that’s important to you. Dining room was rather warm but it was 100 degrees outside. Overall very good. Would return.
