Este establecimiento sirve almuerzo, cena y brunch dominical. Este bonito restaurante de cocina de Louisiana moderna se encuentra en la calle Magazine y cuenta con el chef Justin Devillier, ganador del premio James Beard. El nombre La Petite Grocery rinde homenaje a la historia del edificio, de más de 1 siglo. La estructura original fue construida a finales del siglo XIX, y se llamaba Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. En 1908, un incendio devastó el local, que fue convertido en una completa tienda de alimentación, y hasta 1982 fue Fine Foods de Vonderhaar, una carnicería y tienda de alimentos de calidad superior. 34 is Chef Emeril Lagasse’s first restaurant dedicated to the cuisine of his Portuguese heritage. He was inspired by his late mother, Hilda, who influenced his interest in cooking when he was a child growing up in Fall River, MA. The 245-seat restaurant is adorned in shades of green – Emeril’s signature color – wood accents and ornate Portuguese tiles. A painting of a rooster, a national Portuguese symbol of good luck, greets guests at the entrance. Once inside, a jamon bar with countertop service and tile-clad DJ booth are focal points of the space. The restaurant celebrates not only the food and design of Portugal but also the sounds, with music from local and touring DJs.

At that time, they couldn’t even imagine how many guests that would become.Today it’s still a family atmosphere. Klara is still at the front to greet our guests.
