- JJuneGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is an excellent restaurant in the theater district. The managers and staff should be applauded as well as the NY Fire dept. when a pipe burst over the door creating a massive waterfall during our dinner service in January. They all sprung into action and had the damage under control in a very short period of time. The food was delicious and the concern from management and staff for us was exceptional. Thank you for a memorable evening.More infoCarmine's - 44th Street - NYCPrice: Moderate• Italian• Theater District•4.6

- LL. C.VIPNew York City •33 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoI took advantage of Restaurant Week to return to L'Express, a familiar, friendly and reliable hangout a half block from my office. I've been going there since it opened thirty years ago, almost coinciding with my firm's first 10-year lease. It's no long a 24/7 dive. Covid took care of that. But what has not changed is the familial warm standard that it has remained in the neighborhood: a place where you can go for an excellent burger, an omelette, a nice piece of fish almost anytime of the day or night.More infoL'ExpressPrice: Moderate• French• Gramercy Park•4.5

We started with the tartare and octopus, both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I had the steak, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. To finish, we shared a variety of desserts, each one exquisite and a perfect ending to the meal. Our server, Nikola, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. A remarkable restaurant I can’t wait to return to!More infoLa Grande BoucheriePrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown West•4.5

Fantastic welcome, service outstanding and the choice of food overall was great. The style of the restaurant was lovely … it had atmosphere that some places lacked.
