Best Pre-Theater Restaurants in Brooklyn Heights

Second time in here and it doesn’t disappoint. The food and service are fantastic! And it’s a very beautiful restaurant for romantic or get with friends dinner. I Will come back again and again

This was a wonderful place to go before seeing Death Becomes Her across the street. I had made reservations but due to traffic I was running late. I let them know and they were terrific about it. Place was packed. Food was absolutely amazing. Had the Caesar salad, bread which was so crusty and tender on the inside. Branzino fish was the best I’ve ever had. So tasty and perfectly flaking!! To full for dessert but it looked amazing. Service was awesome, she was normally a bar tender but she was working the floor and did an awesome job.

Wonderful NYC experience. Lovely restaurant with quality food and service. Step off the streets of New York into a Parisian bistro!

Never disappoints - before or after theater lunch or dinner always a sure bet. Salads and burgers delicious - banana cream pie fresh always - service 5 ⭐️ main dishes like their famous meatloaf- never late for a show. The servers are a step above always 🎄

Freidmans is a local 'chain' bur this location has singing wait staff! All excellent and chances are you will see some or all on Broadway sooner or later. Reservations are a must and food come hot and quickly so 75 mins before curtain time is probably enough. Don't skip the cookie plate to share.. 3 huge, warm, choc chip cookies with a bowl of ice cream. Highly recommend sweet potato fries as a side for the table.
