A Night to Remember at The Victoria, Cheltenham Ohhh it was lovely , truly, honestly, heartwarmingly lovely. We celebrated my best friend Lynn’s birthday dinner at The Victoria, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish, it felt like we were wrapped in a big, beautiful hug of good food, warmth, and kindness. The ambience? Soft lighting, elegant charm, and just the right level of calm, classy without feeling stiff, cosy without feeling crowded. We walked in and instantly felt like we belonged there. Now the food… where do I begin? Every single dish was a dream. Beautifully plated, full of flavour, and made with so much care. You could taste the love in every bite. We kept looking at each other like, “Is this real?” It was that good. Lynn was beaming the whole time, and as her best friend, seeing her so happy made me feel so proud. She deserved a beautiful evening, and The Victoria gave her that and more. And let’s talk about the staff, so friendly, so thoughtful, and so genuine. They treated us like we mattered, and made Lynn feel like a queen on her special day. Little touches like that stay with you. If you’re thinking of going, don’t hesitate. Whether it’s a special occasion or a quiet night out, The Victoria makes moments feel magical. We’ll be back, with full hearts and hungry stomachs. ❤️

I thought the food was really good, served in a very reasonable time. Only had 2 slight gripes, I messaged the restaurant telling them we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, which I was told it be made a note of on the booking, but we received no acknowledgement of it during our visit. Also, a service charge of 13.5% is automatically added to the bill, which I don’t like at all. I leave my own tips at my discretion. In fairness they make it clear you can change this amount if you wish, which I did.

Delicious meal with lots of choice and lovely staff. Great ambience and they spoilt my husband (it was his birthday). We will definitely return!

Gem of a find with amazing views from the gardens. Food was very tasty with friendly service and excellent selection of beers and wine.
