Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Blaisdon

The main waitress was great, as the kitchen had not prepared or ran out of several dishes and she communicated this with us well. For an every week meal, this would be an expensive trip as for two people, you would need to spend the recommended amount of £60-£80 on the main meal, not including drinks! That being said, the food is tasty and has good quality over quantity and it is worth a visit.

Honestly one of my favorite, if not my favourite place to dine in Gloucester. The bar is a really unique style matched with great tasting drinks. The food is beautiful and authentic and the staff are just amazingly accommodating and polite. Genuinely couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for another great evening 👏

We had dinner at this beautiful historic manor turned hotel and restaurant, and the setting truly stole the show. The building is rich with character and history, and the views are absolutely breathtaking — a perfect spot for a special evening. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, though our experience was slightly mixed. The food took a bit longer to arrive than expected, and while the presentation and portions were decent, we had higher expectations given the elegance of the venue. One thing that did surprise us was the dress code — despite being described as “smart casual,” many guests were dressed in shorts and crocs, which took away from the refined ambiance we were hoping for. Still, we enjoyed our evening overall and would likely return, but next time with more relaxed expectations. The location alone is worth a visit!

Welcoming staff including the owner. Food reasonable quality (but very good value) . Reasonable selection of drinks, maybe slightly disappointing (no non-alcoholic beers or spirits, only a couple of ales). Excellent location and nice atmosphere. Lots of families (Sunday afternoon). Note that baby change is only accessible in the ladies' loo so if you are a dad on your own as my friend was you will be stuck or will have to commandeer a space outside!

Lovely staff and very nice place!! Food was delicious and speedy.
